Knock Against The Vendor & NOT Against The Product
I've used Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut in my last few builds and the hype is true! Will lower thermal temps at the HSI by 8-10 degrees as long as you apply the compound correctly. I've watched so many YT videos where people are applying the stuff incorrectly. You need to apply the compound to both the HSI and the cold plate of your cooling solution. Then after a month you need to re-apply a new coating due to the fact the aluminum of the HSI and the copper of the cold plate will absorb the indium in the Conductonaut drying it out somewhat. The idea is to keep the indium runny between the HSI and cold plate to achieve max thermal transfer. The stuff is simply the best thing on the market for consumers. So, why the 1-star review? The vendor has two prices on their post here. One is double the price of the other and claims to be a 5-gram package. I needed to complete two builds with a one month later re-application, so I opted for the larger 5-gram package only to receive the single 1-gram applicator version. I've used Conductonaut several times and I've usually just ordered several single application packages for my builds. Perhaps this was an oversight on the vendor's part during the holiday crunch or there simply is no difference between the single application package and the 5-gram package other than DOUBLE the price. I've reached out to the vendor and I will happily change this review if they correct this issue. (photo included).

Like anything else.
I didn't notice a difference really. Over priced for general PC enthusiasts.

Too runny and absorbes into the copper.
I have applied thermal paste to cpus over the years and never had an issue. After watching several reviews I decided to buy this. It didn't work for me at all. The heat spreader partially absorbed the material causing temperature spikes. I tried to reapply many times with no luck. Since the motherboard is vertical the material would eventually move to the bottom of the die. Amazon claims it's a hazardous material so no returns. Think twice before spending so much money.
