When I ordered the stainless steel wire whip and flat beater for my kitchen aid professional 5 plus lift stand mixer I asked AI for the model number. The one I received was different from the one on the bottom of the mixer. I ordered from the one on the bottom of the mixer and they both fit my mixer perfectly - no scraping. The flat beater is a little bit narrower on the top, but both reach the bottom of my 5 quart bowl, even though the description says 6 quart bowl. The beaters are heavy, completely stainless steel (no coating that chips or top that carbonizes) and dishwasher safe. I wish my original mixer came with these. Just make sure you check the correct model number before ordering.

Fits and works perfectly.

It seems pretty durable. The quality is good for the price. Time will tell on the rust resistance. If you get it into the sudsy water before the food dries it should be easy to clean.

I bought this because I am tired of having to hand wash my original whisk, and the one time I put one through the dishwasher the plating came off the base, meaning I get black smudge on my fingers any time I use it. While this one can easily go through the dishwasher, it is not quite as tall as the original, meaning if I use the other spare original whisk I have, this one will not reach the bottom of the bowl. Haven't really noticed that being a huge problem yet, but I wish they had made it the extra 2mm longer to be the same dimensions. That's the only reason I knocked off one star.

Esté globo de batidora se observa de materiales muy buenos, los acabados son excelentes, quizá el único detalle en contra que le veo es que los alambres son un poco ligeramente delgados para mí gusto, espero que con el uso esto no sea un problema en batidos un poco espesos.

C’est difficile de se retrouver avec les nouveaux modèles quand le notre est plus vieux… fait pour une 550HD
