Buy them there good
These ULTRAVERSE 20x4 fat tires are decent overall, but theyโre not quite as โpremiumโ as the marketing makes them sound. They do the job for an e-bike setup and seem built more for durability and utility than performance or comfort. Installation was probably the most frustrating part. These tires are stiff, and getting them seated properly on the rim takes effort, especially if youโre doing it without professional tools. Once mounted though, they feel solid and secure. On the road, grip is good on pavement and light off-road terrain like dirt or gravel. They feel stable, but theyโre also a bit heavy, which is noticeable when accelerating or climbing hills. Thatโs pretty typical for 20x4 fat tires, but still worth mentioning. Ride comfort is okay โ they absorb bumps fairly well, but you can feel the weight and rolling resistance compared to thinner tires. Noise on pavement is also slightly higher than expected. So far, durability seems solid with no obvious wear or weak points, but I havenโt had them long enough to fully judge long-term lifespan. Overall, these are a practical budget-friendly fat tire option for e-bikes. Theyโre reliable and tough, but not especially refined. Good choice if you care more about function and puncture resistance than performance feel or efficiency.

Wow these are different!
These tires are impressive! I ride an eBike hard and often. Usually 25 - 30 miles a day. A big problem when you ride that far is FLATS. Who likes to call and ask for help? So I bought these tires to minimize my calls for help. When I received my new tires I was shocked at the packaging and the installation tools that were included. The installation went smooth. The direction arrow could have been clearer but the note about the raised yellow lettering was a great help. The ride is different. The small bumps are noticeably less but the big bumps are firm. I tested the rolling resistance and its somewhat higher than my previous tires but the traction was outstanding. I road on a road that just had tar and pea gravel installed and normally that can be a bit dicey, but these tires worked great. My last tires lasted 3,000 miles so I'm hoping for a similar result.

Best tires yet
These tires are very smooth ride, they appear to be extremely durable. They are four times thicker than the tires that were originally on my bike. The ride quality is extremely smooth. I notice less bumps on my normal commute this thing eats little bumps and rocks like itโs nothing. The off road performance at least on gravel and dirt was superior to what I had before. The on road experience is like a whole new world. The only downside is I have lost 3 miles of range and 2mph of top speed as the tires are just heavier then the other ones I had but itโs at the cost of being way better so to me itโs not even a downside. My bike is a tst r002 and they fit great in 20x4

Great replacement tire for Rad Rover 6 plus
Bought these to replace my heavily worn out tires on my 2021 model year Rad Rover 6 plus e-bike which had around 4000 miles on it with half of that being single-track hilly forest trails with lots of rocks, roots and fallen branches. So far I've done around 100 miles on these Ultraverse tires and they do not disappoint. At present no issues and no signs of premature tire wear. They are more substantial than the Rad Power OEM tire and I am expecting better than 4000 miles out of them. I can notice a very slight reduction in top-end speed and acceleration since these are heavier but the difference is barely noticeable and perhaps even imagined. One pro that is also a con is these tires grip better on rough terrain, in particular smoot roots on hill climbs that are the bane of keeping traction. The tread pattern and voids do a much better job than the little cleats on my OEM tire at biting around these roots and into the ground. This same advantage also causes a lot more leaf litter, twigs and even small to medium branches to get picked up and thrown into my calves and ankles. Mostly feels like bugs landing on my legs with the odd branch impaling me :). But I don't consider this any fault of the product, this is the (unexpected to me at time of purchase) consequence of having more aggressive grip. One unex

Stiff tire
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Absolutely love these tires. Exactly what i was looking for. These are not some floppy thin foldable tires. These are nice thick tires. The tread is meaty and seems like they will be excatly what i need for my drift trike. The tread is directional so make sure to put them on the right direction. I used a 26x3.5 tube in mine so they wouldn't balloon out when filled up to max psi. And its working out better then expected. My rim is 83mm wide. The tire will definitely fit a 100 mm rim if needed. I just installed them will use them a while and if durability or any issues arrive ill update the review. As of now im very happy with this purchase Fit: is perfect for my rim. Its about 83-85mm which this tire could do wider if needed. Weight: Tire has nice weight to it definitely heavy tires compared to foldable flimsy tires. Value for money: For the price i cant complain to much their are worse tires for way more money Traction: tread is deeper then the pics in listing lead them to look. Id say almost half inch deep treads. At max pressure they do have a more rounded top which is nice on flat smothe ground allows it to roll better. Then droping the psi to a lower pressure allows them to flatten out a bit for more traction. My use is the front tire on my drift trike so ill never see any trail riding to comment on. Performance: Like i said mine are my DTG drift trike front tire. With the stock rim. Ill be going out and putting them to a real hard test ride today. Will update if they perform crapy. They seem like their going to be a great tire.

Phat tires
Great upgrade for a fat tire E-bike. I've put 250 miles on my bike since I got it, and had the misfortune of getting a flat already...from a paper staple. I decided to replace both tires with these, as they seemed much more heavy duty...and less likely to fall victim to a measly staple. I mounted them yesterday with new tubes (also from Ultraverse) and rode approximately 25 miles on them to work and back, and the bike rides and handles so much better than it did before. They were a bit of a challenge to mount because they are quite stiff and grippy, but I actually didn't need the supplied tools to do the job (though it is awesome that they provide both prybars and wheel protectors) I will update this review after I get some more mileage on them, but so far I'm impressed. They look great, too, nice chunky tread, and the yellow letters are a nice touch. Update: They're still good tires, I've put about 150 miles on them, but I got another flat today, from 2 separate nails, so definitely not as puncture resistant as they say they are, and now I need another new tube

Worth it !
I'm fairly new to E-Bike's but I've been getting deeper into it. I've got about 75 miles on these so far. I've read many people suggest these were a worthy upgrade for the bike I have and I was skeptical this was going to be a good value upgrade vs the stock tires but yea it was a good move. Not a terribly expensive upgrade that is a certain improvement over the light weight knobbies that the bike came with. I feel much safxer and they are much much quieter... I can hear my bike, very little road noise now. I definitely get a sense of better grip on concrete/roads, my bike is pretty quick and I like to send it sometimes, great to feel safe. The upgrade was confidence inspiring. I can't really say I can any notice any difference on any off-road surface, but they are 100% certainly much more heavier duty so I do feel they are almost certainly more puncture resistant. I ride mostly on old beaten back roads but almost as much general off road, through everything. I've run them on every surface and they've been great. Top speed unchanged.

Great tires!
I was looking for some fat tires that were a little less fat and I came across these three inch tires which were perfect for me. When they arrived I opened the box and saw that they were very high quality and appeared very solid. After installation, I took them for a test ride and was very happy with them. So far I have about 500 miles on them and they have performed perfectly. I would buy these tires again.
