I’ve repurchased this lip balm because it simply works. It keeps my lips moisturised for hours without feeling heavy or sticky, and I don’t find myself constantly licking my lips or reapplying it throughout the day. It leaves my lips feeling soft, comfortable, and well hydrated. I also appreciate that it isn’t overly glossy or heavily scented. It’s just an effective lip balm that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If you struggle with dry lips and want something that provides long-lasting hydration, I highly recommend giving this a try.

Whatever cosmetic chemist came up with this formula, I want to kiss you on the mouth!! Despite living in a subtropical climate, I somehow have the dryest skin known to man, a condition that unfortunately carries over to my lips. As a result I'm always on the hunt for a lip balm that is genuinely moisturizing, not just occlusive. This one has quickly become a repeat purchase. It is so hydrating and the texture is so pleasant. Not too sticky or waxy but still long-lasting. This should be getting all the hype that the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask gets because if I put this on my lips before bed, in the morning I wake up with the plumpest, smoothest lips ever. I also tend to find heavily fragranced lip balms kind of distracting, so the fact that this is fragrance-free is a nice little plus. Definitely a staple in every one of my bags.

So I've purchased TONS of lip products designed to hydrate or repair dry lips and lets just state the obvious; chap sticks and balms are nice for like an hour, then your lips will actually be in worse condition! But sometimes the chapped burn and flaky skin is so awful you just have to apply something (I've actually had better luck with lip gloss). That was my life for months, every winter in the midwest. The best I could find was basic vaseline, yet I could fill a shoebox with my failed lip products. I just kept buying anything that promised a pretty and moisturize pout. I specifically sought out more expensive brands hoping for miracles, and some were fine but maybe they didnt last long or had a weird tint or smell. Whatever the case I always ended up back at the start, chapped lips and all. When I found this product I immediately purchased it, I don't think $10 for a tube is unreasonable if it fulfills it's claims to repair dry lips. These tubes last months and if it works then it was money well spent. In this case a little goes a long way as it's pretty oily vs goopy or waxy. It spreads thin and at first I thought it was not thick enough to do the job. Honestly the first few uses didn't feel like they made any difference at all, I was worried I had wasted more money but low and behold after about a week of use I noticed a huge difference! I waited about a month to write this review to make sure I didn't point anybody in the wrong direction, and I'm a firm believer that not all formulas work for every person but this is the first product in many years that HEALED my chapped lips AND didn't leave them in even worse condition. After a few weeks my lips are effortlessly smooth and soft, not cracked at all, from casual once a day use. I would highly recommend this product to any of my friends who are experiencing burning and chopped lips. The tube is slightly difficult to squeeze and I'm not sure why, but I certainly don't need anyone else to squeeze the tube for me lmao, that's ridiculous. It's fine with me because I hate unscrewing a cap and having an excessive amount of leaked product all over the applicator. It stays in the tube until its squeezed out and thats the way it should be. All in all its a great product for dry lips, I will be buying it again, and I can tell others from experience that it works great.

I decided to try La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Lip Balm B5 as a more budget-friendly option, and I’m so glad I did. This has taken my lips from painfully dry and bleeding to soft, smooth, and hydrated. I use it every night before bed and wake up with lips that feel healthy again. The texture is rich, lasts all night, and doesn’t feel sticky. This is officially my Laneige dupe — highly recommend!

My lips get dry very easily with changes in the weather, especially in cold temperatures, and this lip balm was the only solution that worked for me. It is the only product, among many I have tried, that has truly helped restore the skin on my lips. It leaves them softer, more hydrated, and prevents them from becoming dry.

Unfortunately Didn’t Work for Me I really wanted this product to work. I was dealing with severely chapped lips postpartum and while breastfeeding, and after reading a ton of reviews, I decided to give this a try. Unfortunately, it didn’t improve my lips at all—they were still extremely chapped, if not worse. I also didn’t love the taste, which was very clinical. That said, I did like how smoothly it applied and that it wasn’t sticky. The applicator tip was also great and dispensed the perfect amount of product each time. Overall, it may be worth trying for mildly chapped lips, but unfortunately it didn’t work for my more severe dryness.

It’s pricey but worth it. I reapply less frequently and this stuff can survive huge drops in temperature. It feels good on the lips and there’s no menthol or anything that makes your lips tingle. It restores your lips’ natural color, and it stays on for a while. I love this stuff and plan to buy more. Better than Burt’s Bees, Elf, and chapstick. I think the only thing that might compare is the aquaphor lip balm. I like the consistency, texture, and the feel of it on my lips. I do wish it was bigger for the price but it’s still a great product.

I had a very damaged lip barrier and my lips were cracked and peeling everyday. If you’re repairing lips from a similar state to mine, this product of very good. It’s thick, you tube is quite small so I estimate this will last around 2 weeks if using consistently. For bad damage, I do think it dries fairly quick so you will have to continue applying throughly it the day. I put a dab of Vaseline on top to try and make it last longer. Over night I would cake on the Vaseline to save this product for daily use and it would dry throughout the night. As a maintenance product I think this will be fantastic! I intend to continue purchasing and will use over the top of a lip stain so I don’t have to apply balms with flavours and colours every day. The uploaded photo is on day 3 of this regime and this is the most improvement I’ve had with lip repair solutions in the past couple of years. No cracks, no peeling from day 2 either.

Finally, something that actually heals my lips. I’ve tried all the popular products, Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, Rhode, Aquaphor, but this is the first one that has genuinely worked for me. It keeps my lips hydrated for much longer. With the others, I’d get temporary relief for a few hours, but the dryness would always return by the next day. I was tired of constantly reapplying products and still dealing with dry lips. This one has made a noticeable difference.

Amazing for the price. I bought this to have an extra lip balm during a short trip and its been 1000 times better than the other pricey popular lip balms that I bought for years. It keeps my lips moisturized even in the driest environments. I wear it at nighttime as part of my skincare routine 10/10
