Whatever cosmetic chemist came up with this formula, I want to kiss you on the mouth!! Despite living in a subtropical climate, I somehow have the dryest skin known to man, a condition that unfortunately carries over to my lips. As a result I'm always on the hunt for a lip balm that is genuinely moisturizing, not just occlusive. This one has quickly become a repeat purchase. It is so hydrating and the texture is so pleasant. Not too sticky or waxy but still long-lasting. This should be getting all the hype that the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask gets because if I put this on my lips before bed, in the morning I wake up with the plumpest, smoothest lips ever. I also tend to find heavily fragranced lip balms kind of distracting, so the fact that this is fragrance-free is a nice little plus. Definitely a staple in every one of my bags.

So I've purchased TONS of lip products designed to hydrate or repair dry lips and lets just state the obvious; chap sticks and balms are nice for like an hour, then your lips will actually be in worse condition! But sometimes the chapped burn and flaky skin is so awful you just have to apply something (I've actually had better luck with lip gloss). That was my life for months, every winter in the midwest. The best I could find was basic vaseline, yet I could fill a shoebox with my failed lip products. I just kept buying anything that promised a pretty and moisturize pout. I specifically sought out more expensive brands hoping for miracles, and some were fine but maybe they didnt last long or had a weird tint or smell. Whatever the case I always ended up back at the start, chapped lips and all. When I found this product I immediately purchased it, I don't think $10 for a tube is unreasonable if it fulfills it's claims to repair dry lips. These tubes last months and if it works then it was money well spent. In this case a little goes a long way as it's pretty oily vs goopy or waxy. It spreads thin and at first I thought it was not thick enough to do the job. Honestly the first few uses didn't feel like they made any difference at all, I was worried I had wasted more money but low and behold after about a week of use I noticed a huge difference! I waited about a month to write this review to make sure I didn't point anybody in the wrong direction, and I'm a firm believer that not all formulas work for every person but this is the first product in many years that HEALED my chapped lips AND didn't leave them in even worse condition. After a few weeks my lips are effortlessly smooth and soft, not cracked at all, from casual once a day use. I would highly recommend this product to any of my friends who are experiencing burning and chopped lips. The tube is slightly difficult to squeeze and I'm not sure why, but I certainly don't need anyone else to squeeze the tube for me lmao, that's ridiculous. It's fine with me because I hate unscrewing a cap and having an excessive amount of leaked product all over the applicator. It stays in the tube until its squeezed out and thats the way it should be. All in all its a great product for dry lips, I will be buying it again, and I can tell others from experience that it works great.

One night guys!! I love this item so much. My lips were in the healing stage so part of it hard and lifted and part of it burning and fresh, y'all know? 😭 I got this last night July 2nd and left it as an overnight treatment with the HaruHaru wonder which I also got yesterday haha Regular chapstill will not clear the crusty lips and heal over night ever! I've tried so many products I even tried a $20 avene treatment which is similar to this but the results not as fast and more expensive. I've also tried things in regards to my health, doctor office said my mineral and vitamin are all good just low on vitamin d which I got to normal. Still chapped lips, I used carmex ( helps when I have that painful cracked lips It'll close it up for you, I'll stand by that but never left soft nor smooth) So glad I gave this a try and the HaruHaru as well. I use la roche-posay first not to much cause a little goes a long way, and honestly absorbs better than the other ones, then I go in with the HaruHaru which I leave as a seal and gloss and don't need a lot of this either. My lips feel so soft and moisturized it's so weird lol 😆 I'll keep it up for a month as a duo for night time. During the day I'll use la roche just the morning and thing throughout with HaruHaru for glossy lips.

Product itself works well but man, I feel like I'm in an all-out wrestling match just to get the product out of the tube.

I had a very damaged lip barrier and my lips were cracked and peeling everyday. If you’re repairing lips from a similar state to mine, this product of very good. It’s thick, you tube is quite small so I estimate this will last around 2 weeks if using consistently. For bad damage, I do think it dries fairly quick so you will have to continue applying throughly it the day. I put a dab of Vaseline on top to try and make it last longer. Over night I would cake on the Vaseline to save this product for daily use and it would dry throughout the night. As a maintenance product I think this will be fantastic! I intend to continue purchasing and will use over the top of a lip stain so I don’t have to apply balms with flavours and colours every day. The uploaded photo is on day 3 of this regime and this is the most improvement I’ve had with lip repair solutions in the past couple of years. No cracks, no peeling from day 2 either.
