Used this to relace my daughter's mitt ,this laceing broke in two places around the pocket after only 2weeks of use, in all my years of playing and coaching I have never had laceing break,this is an inferior product and I would not recommend it

End of the needles that you are supposed to screw the laces into seems like it was made for thread, not leather laces. Extremely small holes, which makes keeping a grip on the laces dang near impossible. Compared to other needles I’ve had in the past, these are basically garbage.

Son is into baseball big time. Have had a few broken laces, finally bought this tool and lace and wow was I surprised. The tool worked great and save a lot of time. The lacing was good quality and easy to work with.

Quality of this lace is basement level. Maybe ok for under 8yrs old levels but broke multiple times in one use after relate of my 12yr old sons catchers glove. Clearly bonded leather and not well made. The tools are nice though.

This worked great! I had two pieces of leather on my baseball mitt pull apart due to frayed/separated leather straps. Was bummed because I didn't really have the money for a new glove or the time to break it on. Enter, this item! I had no idea what I was getting into when I got it, but the directions were very clear and I was able to restitch my glove. It was a little counter intuitive to me that the leather went *into* the back end of the needle. Really did not think it'd stay put as I threaded the mitt, but it did! The leather appears to be really strong, and it hasn't shown any issues yet, after admittedly pretty limited use. I was just sewing the pocket between the thumb and index finger back and barely used any of one strip of leather, and none at all on the second. Also only used the straight needle, not the angled one. But, now I have both of those on hand should I need them future projects. Would really encourage people intimidated by this to give it a go. Was a big cost saver and now I honestly feel like I understand a bit more how the mitt is put together.

Seems to be lace comparable to the existing lace on my old glove. The tools are handy, made quick work of the small section I had to do.

Would not recommend. Lace material is of poor quality and did not last an inning of ball. Used both pieces of lace and both broke within minutes of use. The lace tools work as expected.
