The best home appliance purchase ever. Worth the premium price.
Easily the best home appliance purchase I've ever made other than my Alpha Bidet Toilet seat. A total game changer in saving time and cooking consistently with no mess and very little cleanup required after. Makes perfect bacon in minutes without the splatter or excessive curling. I can take a thick 3/4 lb skinless chicken breast that fully frozen right from the freezer, spray it with avocado oil, shake on a spice mix, and the Typhur will cook it perfectly with no burning and a golden exterior in under 10 minutes without having to watch or flip it. Buy a silicon ramekin, crack an egg in it, 8 minutes later I have a perfectly cooked egg precisely sized to fit my English muffin breakfast sandwich. The tray and bottom pan are nonstick and super easy to clean in the sink in 2 minutes. The rest of the fryer has a self-cleaning function which I use once a week. Zero of the mess or clean up of multiple pans, bowls, or trying to scrub out the inside of a traditional air fryer or toaster oven. This one may be expensive, but trust me it's worth every penny due to the innovate design and easy cleaning. I haven't used my toaster oven or main oven since I bought the Typhur, and use the stove far less too. It's especially great for a single person or a couple, because it holds enough food to make a full dinner for two, and saves a lot of time. Buy one, you won't regret it. Where has thing thing been all my life?

Best Air Fryer for Pizza Making!
I watched a video of Emma Fontanella from YouTube making Neapolitan Pizzas in the Typhur Dome Air Fryer 2 and decided I needed to try it. I waited for Prime Day to snag this amazing Air Fryer for $285 in July, 2025 and I was not disappointed making my first 10โ Neapolitan Pizza using Emmaโs 3-Ingredient Pizza Dough Recipe. I no longer need to use my outdoor pizza oven because this fabulous air fryer makes a super crispy crust (I put cornmeal on the bottom of the dough for that extra crisp) and it delivered a tried and true pizza. I will never order pizza from my local pizza place again! The additional bottom heating element makes a huge difference delivering an amazing crispy crust without having a super high 500-600 degree indoor or outdoor oven. I use the Built in Pizza Setting which is set at 340 Degrees for 14 minutes with an 8 minute Pre-Heat and it works perfectly for a homemade pizza crust. The lower temperature setting ensures my top doesnโt burn but the newly added bottom heating element makes sure the crust comes out crispy. You will not be disappointed! Another great feature is how quiet it is and how it does not get super hot when in use. I have also made homemade French Fries and BBQ Chicken in here and it came out perfectly. I personally prefer to use this primarily as my pizza oven though it does have a great Self-Cleaning function if I decide to use it for making other messier items. But you need to initiate that through the app on your phone which I have yet to try. I stick to my cheaper Gourmia Air Fryer for that as I like to keep this more expensive air fryer clean more often. Overall, I am very pleased with this Air Fryer and feel like I got my moneyโs worth as I can easily make Neapolitan Pizzas when friends and family come over and they are pleasantly surprised at how good they come out considering they were cooked in an Air Fryer. I added a picture of the pizza size in the Air Fryer which as you can see still has plenty of room for a larger pizza. The other pic is the finished pizza which was devoured in record time.

Made me an air fryer fan!
Love this thing! I did an exhaustive amount of research and finally landed on this one, and glad I did. Yeah, it's pricey, that's what mainly held me back, but it was worth it. Think I paid around 300 on black Friday cyber Monday whatever sales. So, I've had it 7 months at this point. I love that there's enough room you can lay everything out in one layer rather than some basket you have to constantly shake or mess with. Waffle fries, one layer, I don't even bother flipping them. Does amazing on frozen pizza and wings. Quiet, real quiet. The dual elements are far superior to just one, everything cooks more evenly and faster. Fancy smart options I haven't really used besides notifying me when time is up on whatever I was cooking when I'm outside or in the shop. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

Makes getting meals on the table so much faster and easier!
SECOND UPDATE: I felt compelled to provide an additional update to this (over a year later) and increase the rating back to 5 stars. I seriously love this thing. It's basically become a member of our family. I love it so much I bought the updated version which has a heating element on the bottom as well. Typhur also told me that they are updating the baking pan to try to prevent the scratching issue I had before, and the updated version has not had any of these issues. We use this at least 10 times a week for various meals. Because it is so wide, it can cook so much food and everything cooks faster and better in this. It's great for frozen foods of course - chicken tenders, tator tots, mozzarella ticks, hash browns, french bread pizzas, etc - they all cook up so well in this. But it's also great for so many different veggies, meats and fish. We regularly air fry teriyaki salmon in this and it's large enough to cook all of the portions for our family of five. Everything cooks SO FAST. Oven roasted whole carrots take at least 45 minutes in a regular oven, and are seriously done in about 18-20 minutes in this. Air fried green beans - five minutes and delicious. Brusssel sprouts taste like they've been fried. I've made Chinese char siu in the oven for years and recently cooked it in this - it was the best batch ever. Crispy pork belly - check. Tilapia - check. Chocolate chip cookies - check. An entire pack of bacon - check. It's amazing. If you need an air fryer, just get this - you won't regret it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really loved this air fryer. Before purchasing, I emailed the company numerous times to ask about their coating and to make sure it was truly non-toxic, etc. The company was always very responsive, so I went ahead and purchased what I considered to be a relatively high priced air fryer. I've used it multiple times a week since then. Not every day, but maybe 2-3 times a week and it's worked amazingly well. It's huge so you can cook a giant batch of food at a time and it truly works well. I've hand washed the tray each time without any abrasive cleaners. Here's the issue: after roughly four months of fairly regular use, the coating has started to come off the tray on the upper edges as well as in the middle of the base of the tray. I assume it's not safe to use with the coating coming off, and I'm really bummed. This was a lot of money to spend for four months of use of an air fryer. I'm not sure if others have had this experience, but I will say that the air fryer itself is excellent. I just wish the tray would have lasted more than 4 months, and I'm not sure if you can buy it separately. UPDATE: I reached out to Typhur to ask about getting a new tray. With very little effort (sent in some requested pics of the tray), they promptly shipped me a new tray. The customer service is really unparalleled and I'm so impressed and grateful that they really stand behind their products. I've moved this back up to 4 stars as a result of the amazing customer service!

Great in every way, except mobile app dependence
As long as the height limit on this isn't an issue, it's a really good air fryer. And the height limit is a real limitation - not just if you're trying to cook larger foods, but even common items like bread/rolls from the grocery store may be too tall. You can cook using the provided tray for air circulation, which produces great crispy food, or you can cook without it for more direct heating depending on what you're making (almost functioning as a flat-top). The tray design is also far easier to clean than basket-style air fryers, and it's quieter than any other air fryer I've owned if that's a concern for you. The missing star comes from a single, absurdly obnoxious design decision. This air fryer has a variety of modes for different purposes, which are not just simple time/temperature presets - these functionally change which heating element(s) are being used, at which power level, etc. For example, the Pizza preset uses both heating elements and requires a preheat period, before settling in at a lower temperature than you'd expect. It genuinely works too, and makes really good pizza. However, not every setting is available from the machine; a large chunk of settings require you to use the app. There aren't even secret button combinations (from what I could find) to activate these modes, it's app only. Which means if you are cooking something using Air Fry and what to finish it off by browning some cheese on top, well to switch to Broil you need to go and grab your phone, open the app, click on the device, click on Broil, confirm the settings, press start on the air fryer, and now you can finish your food. And as mentioned, Broil is a unique mode, so "Broil at 450F" and "Air Fry at 450F" will not do the same thing regardless of the temperature matching. Easiest 5 star review if they would just allow all modes to be accessible from the device, even if it's an obnoxious sequence of button presses you have to remember.

Best Air Fryer!
Love this air fryer! I purchased it based on a recommendation from a YouTuber. I have not regretted it. Iโve been using it for three weeks now. It's a workhorse and very high-quality. I will admit thereโs some learning you have to do, however, if you take the time to really learn about this machine, I believe you will love it too! Be sure to look into the preset buttons, and by the way there are MORE presets in the app, because each one has a different fan speed, and it uses either the top or the bottom burner as the main heat source. Some of the presets will preheat and some will not. It may sound complicated, but itโs not and itโs more than worth the bit of time it takes to learn to use it properly. For the first week and a half I didnโt bother with the presets. I just manually entered the time and the temperature. Once I realized how they work, the presets are really a game changer. I have attached a picture of a spreadsheet I put together to somewhat document the preset settings. The temperatures and times are variable. Itโs not official, just something I put together based on information I got from the website. The air fryer takes up a bit of space on the countertop. It weighs 20 pounds so I won't be putting it away after each use. Besides, I want to use it all the time so I don't want to put it up every time I use it. I have a tiny kitchen, so I bought a shelf to set it on so that I don't lose any counter space. This was a perfect solution. Be sure to leave room for the air vent in the back. This may be the biggest air fryer on the market, but from what I have read and watched in online reviews, it will last you for the long haul as opposed to purchasing a smaller one and then realizing you canโt really make anything significant in it. This thing is so quiet I often check to make sure that itโs on and from my understanding most air fryers are quite loud. The finish on the surface of the basket and on the grill plate that comes with it are so easy to clean. I usually wipe it out with a paper towel and then easily clean it with dish soap and water. So far NOTHING STICKS! I almost forgot the self cleaning feature! There are two modes: there's just self cleaning and then there's a deep clean. I've only used the self cleaning and it was amazing. This is to clean the heating coils, removing food and fat that get on them during cooking. It's my understanding that for most air fryers, cleaning the heating elements can be a real bear of a process and may not always be successful. The app is very user-friendly. The website is full of great ideas and recipes. Customer Service is a dream to work with. At this point, they still have a 30 day price guarantee. Within a week of purchasing my air fryer Amazon put it on sale for $50 less. I contacted Typhur customer service and within 24 hours I had a $50 credit on my Amazon account. What else can I say? If you really want to enjoy the air fryer experience, get the best one. It's my opinion that this IS the best one! UPDATE 12/24/25: I still love my air fryer and use it every day! I cook, chicken, salmon, steak, bacon, without having to heat up my big oven. But the main reason I had to place this update is due to even more high-end customer service by Typhur. Early last week I was cooking with my air fryer. I pulled the basket out and turned around to set it on the counter top behind me. I apparently hadnโt set it down securely as I instantly heard a horrifying crash, turned around, and saw the basket laying on the floor with a smashed handle. I was heartbroken as I use this every day, but I remembered seeing a replacement basket on Amazon for around $60. But first I decided to contact Typhur Customer Service via email to see if I could buy just the handle. They wrote back within about FIVE MINUTES that they had placed an order to send me a a complimentary replacement! I was thrilled and in the back of my mind, I was wondering how I was going to replace this handle when I received it. Fast-forward a week I came home and there on my front porch was a big box. I had no idea what could be in it. Turns out It was a brand new COMPLETE BASKET for my dome 2 air fryer! Not just the replacement handle! These days, when customer service can be spotty, it is really refreshing that a company would go above and beyond like this.

Awesome Air Fryer!
After (too) many hours looking at air fryer reviews I picked the Typhur Dome 2 as my first air fryer. I am so glad I did! I probably don't use it as much as I could, but I love it for whipping up a quick batch of biscuits or crescents. The pan is big enough to hold and entire can of Pillsbury Grand biscuits, with the top and bottom heating elements, the biscuits turn out nicely browned on top AND bottom (no rack, using Bake mode, and no preheat). Just drop the temperature down about 25F and reduce the time by 2 - 5 minutes (for me). I also like it for frozen food (hash browns, fries, fish sticks, etc.). I haven't really used it for many meats because I prefer to grill/smoke, but there are many reports of others being very happy, and I've been thinking wings sound good about now (and it's too cold to fire up the pellet smoker). My only nit-picks are that when you lose power to the unit you have to re-pair it to your phone - it doesn't retain any settings. It will still work without the phone, but you lose some of the modes (like bake). The other is that if you use the app on the phone to setup the cooking time/temp, when you click on start you still have to press start on the unit as well. Like I said nit-picks, not deal breakers. The only complaint I have seen in reviews/comments is that the drawer is too shallow to cook a whole chicken. In my opinion, I'd rather have a larger cooking area, rather than more cooking height. Yes, the cost is higher than many other air fryers, I'm glad I spent the extra cash.

Typhun could change the way you prepare food forever in good way.
Ok I have owned 5 Air Fryers One off brand 2 Ninjas 2 Corsica and now this.. Typhun 360$ this most expensive. I just rescued it today. First set up was easy as can be including the WiFi app to control the cooker. I will report back every month for next few months. I consider myself an expert on air fryers and portable ice makers. I have cooked one think in it a hamburger. It came out perfect. I was extremely happy the Typhun is just a slick machine it's so quiet you don't know it's on. The burger came out perfect cooked fast and clean up wast z breeze. Since it does not have a drip pan I was worried about grease but that was non issue. It also has also has thermostat that can be bought and worked thru the app which I will purchase next. From other reviews I watched and read I expect this to work out perfect. I know it's expensive but you get what you pay for. It has some great recipes in the app for steak burgers potatoes all kind of items. That make it look simple to prepare good directions to. I am looking forward to the next couple months. I really like the the displays easy to read and use. I am 69 years old making my life simple but pleasurable is a big deal for me. I am single and want my cooking to be simple but be able to make delicious food and simple . This AirFry is really way more than just air fryers. It toast roast dehydrates it can do a lot . So I will keep you all updated. After just one burger and 6 hours of ownership I am glad I went ahead and spent the money on this. So until next month if you are looking forward a new one or just starting to look for one this is a 5 star Item.' It will change how you cook and what you eat.

Best Air Fryer
Excellent air fryer. Very even heating and cooks food evenly. Does require 120V so you may need a transformer if not in the US.

Excellent high end Air Fryer, highly recommend
We splurged on this and are very happy with the purchase. Whether any air fryer could be worth this price is one question. There is no doubt this appliance is well built with high quality materials and components. Due to the premium nature of this beast, the result is a device that is easy to use and clean. The app is required to access certain features/presets of the AF, but is not necessary. The cooking performance is exceptional, and assuming your counter/space has enough clearance for this, it should satisfy your cooking requirements and then some. The low profile design seems to result in a more even cook throughout. Chicken, salmon, and various veggies, and frozen mini pizzas have come out oh so good. I don't love being somewhat tied to an app, but it performs very well once you have it configured and remote notifications are obviously welcome. It won't pair with more than one device but you can setup the AF with one account and share that account with other users. Will update this review (hopefully) over the years as it is an investment. Whether it is worth the price tag is up to you. The cook in our family swears this is "much better" than the previous AF (Instant Pot), and she uses the AF daily. The Dome 2 Is a champ for large, low-profile loads. We wouldn't bake or air fry a whole chicken or turkey anyway, so the low profile design is not a constraint for us. It was definitely a splurge/luxury purchase but no regrets, keeping in mind this costs 2/3X more than "what most people need", ourselves included.

Enormous but super worth it
Blows any other airfryer on the market out of the water. Basket has twice the capacity and the second heating element cuts cooking time in half. The additional space also means better airflow so food fries more evenly. Easy to clean, no PFA in the coating. Only qualms would be that itโs quite heavy and needs a lot of room, and the silver finish is already showing some wear as it is just painted plastic. But overall very satisfied with this product.

I love this thing!
This was purchased on January 8, 2026 and it's now May 15, 2026. It has been put through its paces. I never thought it was possible to love an appliance as much as I love this one. It's changed the way I cook because I use it almost daily as a giant frying pan that does not splatter all over the stove. It also works extremely well as an air-fryer, toaster, wing-cooker and vegetable roaster. Have not tried it with steaks and might in the future. Previously bought a combo air-fryer-toaster-oven and it infuriated me by its poor performance. I returned it and decided on this. Although large, the profile does not take up a lot of visual space like a taller air-fryer but you do need counter space for this. The men in the household find it easy to use too! And it comes with a self cleaning function. The only drawback is bulky items won't fit in it. I have an oven, I can use that instead. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate.

Well worth the higher price
Decided to purchase after extensive research on the competitors for quite a bit less. Some used glass, other's used similar non stick ceramic coatings. The glass ones I eliminated due to the glass remaining dangerously hot after cooking and the other ceramic coated fryers still had the same issue that my previous air fryer had. It's a deeper basket but so much smaller. I won't go over all the other positive reviews here because I feel they've covered it all. But what really sold me on this was that while it's a shallower basket, it's wider which allows you to cook a full 12" pizza and well over 20+ chicken wings at one time. Plus buying it on Amazon Prime Day made it cheaper. The pizza turned out amazing as well as the wings. It's definitely takes up more counter space but that's to be expected when the basket is a 12x12" basket. It is in my opinion well worth the higher cost. It's well built and looks so far to be high quality material. Typhur Dome 2 is the fryer to get and it's worth it.
