Very good!
Just got it today and sat with it for a few minutes to check it out. Bought to use in place of my vintage Ross Phaser. The Ross has become valuable and I can't find a crazy reversed polarity adapter so I have to use a battery. This is surprisingly good! I can get a subtle phase sound like I can with the ross. That's what I wanted. But it does much more than that and my ross. You can get close enough to a roto-vibe type sound and various degrees of phase sounds. For my use and 1/3 the price of a MXR Phase 90 I'm 100% pleased. Was surprised how small it is too. That's pretty neat. Plus it uses a standard adapter plug so it can be used with todays standard power supplies or wall wart. The knobs are small and maybe harder to see and read on stage but to me it seems this is the type of pedal you dial in the sound you want and leave it set. It doesn't seem to be one that you are always fiddling with.

A Bit Touchy
The UnParallel pushes a LOT more treble than other phasers. This can require some drastic adjustments to avoid some swirling remnant to slice into your eardrum. It can be tamed though, you just have to cut a LOT of treble off the incoming signal. The regen and bias knobs can create seemingly endless variations of swirling sound, some of them not so pleasant, but some are really quite good. Switch is nice and quiet. Does NOT work well in the FX loop.

Great Phasing at a Great Price
The Unparallel is a great cost effective Phaser pedal, I have yet to be disappointed in EX Amp Pedal products, and I highly recommend them. If you want to see an objective review I have a review of this and other pedals on my you tube (it is the same name)

Good, low budget phaser, but has some kinks
Ok, so I've been using this for a week now, and getting the hang of it. It's a pretty decent box for the price, but it won't replace a higher priced, better quality effect. Good: * Low cost, but still a nice sound. It doesn't crackle or break, even at high volume. * Versatile sounds (with 4 knobs to tweak around, this covers a very wide range). * Bias knob is awesome once you get the hang of it. * Small size, so doesn't take up a lot of space on the board. Bad: * Rate knob is weird. The rate changes slowly and smoothly from min to about 75% and then jumps up suddenly. It's very hard to get it right when the knob is beyond 75% since just a small touch will make jump erratically. * Knobs, other than regen, are too small, so you can't change them with your feet, but I guess that's a compromise that comes with the size. Ugly: The switch makes a sound in the amp. This is probably the biggest issue I have with this pedal, which is why it's 3 star instead of 4/4.5. The switch makes a very noticeable sound in the amp when clicked, so cannot switch it on or off at high volumes. I don't know if it's just my pedal or something systematic in their manufacturing. I'm probably going to return it if I can't figure out how to do this while playing. EDIT: after some use, the switch sound has gone down and doesn't happen as often. Also, managed to find my sweet spot on the settings, and it sounds much better now.

Excellent sounding full featured phasor
This is a typical true bypass analog phase pedal in a mini enclosure. Necessarily, there is no room for a 9-volt battery, but if you are ordering this, you probably already knew that. Reminds me a lot of all the good things about a phase 90, but with a lot more control. Using this for an acoustic pedal board post-delay, and it is exactly what I was looking for

Sounds great, NO volume control
Itโs actually not bad sounding, it take a little tweaking to get the phaser you are liking for. One down side is if you use a distortion with it it does jump the volume up a bit. And there is NO volume control, which would make it a contender with the big names, if you are running light overdrive to clean, your not gonna have a problem.

Defective pedal.
Some people have complained about this pedal doing essentially nothing, and I'm one of those unlucky few. The pedal I got is defective. Doesn't modulate my guitar signal at all. Seems more like a treble booster than a phase pedal. My fault for not trying the pedal sooner so I could exchange it. Oh well.

More than meets the ear
At first glance I thought this was just another cookie-cutter phaser pedal. Once I watched the video demo it revealed to me that this is one very unique phaser. There are so many types of phase effects contained within. As a "noise monkey" I found this pedal to be invaluable ingredient in my tone experiments.
