Solid and reliable.
A good basic PSU with all necessary power cables (including graphic cards). Solid and well made with a lot of power on the 12 volt bus.

Quiet and Reliable 550W Power Supply
The CORSAIR CX550 power supply is perfect for my PC build. It runs quietly and provides steady power. The 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency helps keep energy use low. It’s not modular, but the cables are easy to manage. Great value and reliable performance!

Great for my needs, but if you need power go higher.
A reliable, cheerful and (relatively) cheap power unit from Corsair. I pretty much exclusively use Corsair for when I need a power-supply I can trust (so typically recommend them to friends). Build quality is solid and lasts; I especially like that Corsair have a unified pin-layout across their ranges from the same generation. In this instance I got the non-modular with pre-defined cables just to save on cost as it's being used in a Small Form Retro Windows XP machine running an A10-7700k, SSD, 5.25" CD Drive and a GTX 970. It doesn't draw enough to really put this thing under significant load even during LAN's so its fine for my purpose and i've never actually noticed the fans going. However i'd advise that if you're going for a mid-market build most midrange cards are increasingly creeping in TDP into the 300w+ range i'd say this 550 probably won't be up to the job. Instead i'd recommend buying the headroom and go for a 650/750 semi or fully modular and obviously if you're running a modern shoe-box power monster + CPU combo 1000w+. Otherwise happy as usual with this brand.

Fabulous high quality
From opening the box, I could see although it was a bit expensive, this was a product of the highest quality and what I imagined from Corsair. The internal cables are bound together by high quality fabric material, the PSU unit was the perfect size for my case, it just oozes quality. I was able to mount and install with no problems, this being my first PSU install. Plenty of cables which didn't need but might come on handy later, the only slight criticism would have is that there isn't much length on the cablea to connect my Blu ray drive and my SSD in the case. I had to turn my SSD the other way and just managed to reach them both. The fan in the unit is also extremely quiet, a bit difference. Overall top quality Corsair product and very happy.

Solid piece of kit, very quiet
Bought to replace an existing working PSU. This one is a lot quieter and feels much more solidly built. More efficient too, with lower wattage drawn for same load. Decent braided cables. Has ATX, CPU, PCI connections. Has Molex and SATA although I felt the SATA ones were a bit short, certainly for my case (Fractal Design Core 1100) when I had to reach between DVD drive and SSD. Definitely a quality product.

Corsair CX550 (quasi) come nuovo
Pessimo. All'interno non era presente il cavo della corrente che usiamo in Italia, bensì uno straniero. Anglosassone o Giapponese, non so. Scarsa serietà.
