Flawless Color Protection: I have a lot of dark clothes and premium black shirts that usually fade quickly with standard detergents. This formula completely preserves the color—my blacks and dark grays stay rich, vibrant, and looking great after each wash. This item has an incredible scent. It has a clean, sophisticated, high end fragrance that stays fresh on the fabric without bothering you. I use this product for basically all my stuff, including jeans, cottons, towels. The item was recommended to me by my house keeper and she has used basically everything and this is one of her number one choices. The best part about this item is that it's very concentrated and all you need is just a small amount per load. This bottle for sure lasts much longer that those large famous brands in the market. I got the 32 oz. bottle and it lasts probably around 30loads. I get the classic one and I am planning to get the other scents later. Th bottle is very easy to use, and the packaging is great so it doesn't leak or spill when using or at the time of delivery. powerful product and definitely effective.

This detergent has a wonderful upscale fragrance and leaves laundry smelling beautifully fresh. The concentrated formula means you do not need to pour a huge amount into every load. It cleans everyday clothing well and I especially like using it for nicer fabrics and linens. The bottle also takes up less space than the oversized detergent jugs I normally use. This makes doing laundry feel just a little more luxurious.

at first when I got this product delivered and smelt it straight from the bottle I gagged. It smelled like a man’s cologne and was so strong. I am a girl and I like to smell like a girl I wanted something that smelled more like linen or floral. I decided to give my stinky workout clothes And towels a good wash in this just to see, and I am obsessed. The overly strong man cologne smell, turned into a subtle amber and musk scent. I just washed some towels and clothes yesterday so I’m not sure about the longevity. Also, my daughter works in a restaurant so she needed something that took away the restaurant smell and this did the trick my towels and my workout clothes are soft and super clean. And yes, this is a little bit expensive but I only put a tiny bit in my HE washing machine so I’m expecting it to last quite a while. I just ordered the classic laundry detergent so I will see how that goes.

People are not kidding when they say this detergent smells good. It does. The smell reminds me of expensive hotel towels. As to its ability to clean, I am leaning toward the idea that it has a very good ability to clean items that have always been treated well; on pieces of clothing that have layers of dirt, or that need clarified, I think it struggles. For example, on older shirts that my kid wears and sweats on, the smell remained after washing. On new shirts she has, the smell hasn't been able to build up. Right now, I am experimenting with Laundress' Stain Remover and this product. Together they work pretty well; however, the wonderful smell isn't as present. I think I will be using Defunkify on a good deal of our wardrobes and then trying only Laundress for a few months to see how it goes. I will update. For now, this detergent is not completely earning the price it costs. Not yet. Please check out the Stain Remover, though. Such good stuff!!!!

I reallllly love this stuff. The price was just on the higher end of what I’d usually pay to try a fancy detergent like this, and unfortunately for my finances it’s now become my favorite detergent lol. It’s very softening and works really well, the smell is strong enough that it sticks to the clothes and smells incredible if you put your face to the fabric. Genuinely I can’t get over how much I love the scent. To be fair about the cost, you actually don’t need a ton to get a good clean on a full load! I use a little less than instructed and the scent is fantastic and it still cleans really well.

I loved this product before the recall. I feel that I need to finally stop paying top dollar for it as I wait for it to come back to life because it's lost about half it's fragrance, there's absolutely no remaining scent after the wash so my closet and drawers don't have that amazing smell I lived so so much, and no more compliments throughout the day which used to happen all day wherever I'd go. Plus, I have been waiting for my favorite (and so many others people's favorite) scent "No. 10" that has such a beautiful, but not too feminine scent that sticks to every singke fiber of your clothes for a long long time, and to snuggle into freshly washed sheets and duvet/blankets is like heaven. There's no longevity at all now and I can't even smell it while it's washing or drying. They don't offer dryer sheets to complete the scent of the detergent. That has always bothered me, so before I was getting "Bounce free and clear" dryer sheets which really fluffed everything up very nicely, and left each room smelling amazing. But the whitening product has changed from powder to liquid and it isn't half as good at brightening whites as the powder which worked so well giving very dingy old clothes a new lease on life. Not anymore. I wonder if the difference is the use of borax? I think thar was an ingredient in the powder but isn't in the liquid. I still have a spot stain removal bar (it started out tiny and it's 2/3's gone now) which I keep for intimate and small stains that has borax in it and it's a beast! But they recalled literally everything. I don't know what kind of problem there could be for them to remove every single product they offered. Like powder and bar soap like that. But I'm not privy to why it happened, it just seems like every time I find something I REALLY love and plan to stick with, it disappears or changes for whatever reason. It's very disappointing. As far as cost goes, the value of putting twice as much money into a product than leading brands, while waiting for "No. 10" and hoping they fix their formula, that is way too expensive for me. I can't afford to buy products that I'm not thoroughly happy with at designer prices and to me with my small budget, this is a luxury, and sadly I won't be buying more. I have struggled to find another highly scented detergent that I like so I'm also sinking more money into that. I wish I knew which one is comparable to the former formula that Laundress was using that is nearly as good. My whites are dingy again with the new recipe and I'm paying a lot for the past success of this product that's nowhere near the same I'm also disappointed in the lack of brightness and stain removal. It just doesn't work like it did

I'm a child raised with sheets and blankets that dried on the clothes line. The Laundress smells like the best summer day that dried your bedding on a clothes line. Such a perfect scent to help you slide into clean, cool and crisp sheets.

Smells amazing. However, if you dont have a machine that adds the water while you're adding your clothes you might have the same problem i do. When I squeeze the detergent onto bedding (because of the price thats all I was using it for) it has left the lines of the detergent all over my sheets. Unsure how to describe that. Imagine a snail trail, I guess, but without the slime? Just the discoloration....

Like the scent but overpriced and not worth it $$
