Ultraviolet Light Water Purifier Reverse Osmosis UV 12W, 1GPM

This product is perfect. I replaced my old UV light and cannister because it was leaking. I know how to install being a professional and NOT a DIY. No instructions, but if you knkow what you are doing you can figure it out. I give it ******* Stainless Steel and comes with the proper fitting for a new or existing installation.

I ordered this UV Sterilizer on July 11, 2025 and received it on July 28. I only had the chance to install it about 30 days later, and on first use the unit completely failed. Within 5–10 seconds of being plugged in, the ballast started smoking and overheating. I had to unplug it immediately to prevent a fire hazard. When I contacted Amazon, I was redirected to the seller, but they only offer a 30-day warranty, by Amazon. That is unacceptable — a product like this should be safe and reliable well beyond 30 days, especially since this was defective from the very first use (DOA). The ballast claims "Quality Control Passed" with a sticker, but apparently that was not true, or the construction was very poor. This product is unsafe, and I cannot recommend it. Buyers should be very cautious.

I had bought another UV light for about the same price and it was a plastic housing and made my water taste like plastic. THIS one is excellent. Easy to install, stainless steel and Quartz (feels like glass to me, not sure the difference) so no chemical run off. I Cleaned everything with soap and water prior to install and then ran about 1/2 my tank to clean out and debris on the filter. Water is great, no fear of bacteria/virus from our well water. Now time for a whole house!!!!

I like this product pricing and dislike product design default, I use this for family drinking water sterilizing.

I have measured a drop of pH by 2 after passing through the stainless steel tube. Water of a 6.5 is dropped to a 4. These measurements were done with scientific quality analog and digital measuring devices. This device also does not come with ANY instructions. I am aware UV light does not effect water chemistry, however something with this device seems to be leaching into the water. I have disassembled and thoroughly cleaned it with soap and water multiple times. Take off metal screw cap on bottom side of stainless tube. Slip rubber ring around opening of the quartz tube (nearly on the tip) and put into stainless tube depressing spring a little while also screwing on metal cap to hold in place. attach power to UV light and slide into opening in metal cap. Then slip over black plastic shroud. I have messaged the seller and still no response. I will change the review if remedied.

Great product but I can't find a replacement 12w 1gpm bulb!!!!

We had a coliform bacteria count of over 200 and installing this under the sink with our RO, our count came back under 1! Love the product and easy to install!

En esta ocasión tendré que calificar mal al producto, y a Amazon, recibí 2 unidades, no vienen con instructivo, y viene desarmado, al tratar de ensamblar el primero, se rompió el tubo de cuarzo ya que no está fácil de armar, decidí no abrir el segundo que compré, así que devolví las 2 unidades, por alguna razón que desconozco Amazon solo me devolvió el dinero de una sola unidad, llamé a servicio al cliente 3 veces, cada vez me comentaron que me devolverían el costo del segundo filtro, pero esto no ha pasado, en resumen, no recomiendo este producto, y a raíz de esto de ser posible, compro en otros portales, decepción de Amazon

Este producto es para una demanda mayor a un simple filtro. Lo trate de usar en el filtro de agua potable que tengo y el agua salía muy caliente.

Batallamos para ensamblando porque viene sin ningún tipo de indicación o instructivo. Lo conectamos con un regulador de corriente para protegerlo de cualquier incidente y comoquiera a los 15 minutos de conectado la balaustrada estaba ardiendo y el foco fundido. Pésima experiencia.
