Great for Pilates
I use this for pilates exercises to both increase the range of motion for my toes and to do exercises which will help activate the core, hip flexors, gluteal muscles. The springs strong and offers just enough resistance. I pair this with exercises from the book, โ Fix Your Feet- Using the Pilates Methodโ by Kathryn M Ross-Nash or exercises from Pilatesology.com (subscription needed). I am sure you could find free YouTube videos about how to use this. Search for โtoe correctorโ. If you bought this Toe Exerciser from the Gratz Pilates site, it costs $110. I believe that this is the same as the Gratz Toe Exerciser except much cheaper.

Love my toe corrector
I have been a professional choreographer for many years and this past year I have been working hard with a Pilates trainer to work on strengthening my feet. I loved how quickly my foot alignment straightens out with those exercises. I felt that doing them every day rather then waiting for my twice a week private workout will help that much more. I love the quality, it totally compares well to the fancy one they have at the studio. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to correct improper alignment.

Affordable alternative to "Joe's toe gizmo" made by Balanced Body Pilates equipment
I am a Pilates teacher and wanted to work toe/feet exercises in class, so I bought one of these correctors to utilize in planning classes since they are so much cheaper than those made by Pilates equipment manufacturers. Balanced Body's are $80. Even this one I bought, however, is too expensive for me to buy 12 of for my students, so we will be working in class with silicone bands to mimic the resistance of the corrector. You can even use a broccoli rubber band. I think it would be well worth $20 for a person wanting to correct their bunions, hammertoes, etc., or simply gain more healthy, articulate feet, and feel the feet connected all the way up into the hip. Remember, correcting a problem like bunions takes time, and you have to commit to regular practice. So don't expect results over night or in one or two sessions. In the meantime, however, your feet will feel good during and after your workouts. This corrector appears to be fairly well made. Balanced Body offers two spring strengths, light and heavy, for different exercises and different individual's foot strengths and problems. This corrector spring seems kinda' heavy. Remember, Pilates work is subtle. You are not trying to do everything as hard as you can. Light pulling on a heavy spring is more beneficial than going to the max. I would suggest you get a Pilates teacher or PT to guide your exercises since no exercise insert comes with the corrector, but if that option is not available, google "toe corrector" and watch some YouTube videos to learn exercises. Watch a variety of short videos to get an idea of where to place the corrector and how to use it.

This is a great tool!
I truly love this this bunion corrector because it's a great tool for exercising and stretching the joints of the big toes. When the toes just remain in the same position for a long period of time(especially when wearing shoes)they tend to get stiff and begin to ache. This tool is great for stretching both toes on each foot and it is very sturdy.

I used to practice with the one that is leather loop. So it might not be that comfortable. But, it help me for correction anyway.

Consistency of use will change the way you walk
As an international Pilates Master and 40 years as a Fitness Specialist Iโve found the Bunion Corrector to work wonderfully. Not only realigning the Toe and Bunion but the stability added to Ankle and Talus is critical to correct walking. Kudos and what an extremely great price ๐

Bunion corrector.
If you have bunions, no amount of extractor will correct the defect. Tried this product and had no effect on my bunions. It was difficult to use because you have to be sitting down the entire time to separate your toes. 15 mins of using this product is not enough time to correct my issue in both feet. The only way to fix bunions correctly is to get it surgically done.

An Effective Alternative To Bunion Surgery
More affordable than unit provided by Pilates, this very effective device conclusively wards off any concerns when bunion has been forcing big toe into the next causing discomfort. Why get bone sawed when you can train your body to behave better? Highly recommended.
