It’s definitely worth the small amount I paid! It worked much better than what I was using before! Much easier to clean! And there’s no corners mold can grow in! The basic tall cylinder style design beats anything else! I went back and ordered another one!

No flaws, nice set that tells all starter metrics. The straight side bottle is way better than the mason jars I've been using.The spatula is the perfect size and shape. The thermometer strip is accurate. The cloth and screw top fit perfect.Simple excellence is appreciated

This is a great product. I've been using a Weck jar but liked the extras that come with this set.When it arrived I noticed that it is difficult, after scraping out the residue, I was not able to get my hand in to give it though cleaning. Great set. I would give it a 5 if I could get it cleaned easier.

All well made and nice to have a fabric cover as well as screw on top. It would be nice if the spatula was a little longer.

The best for starting sourdough

I like the spatulas and the nifty little hats and the LCD temperature and the moveable bands. BUT...The Glass is Extremely Thin. One might imagine that this whould not make much of a difference, but I was using the glass containers to store the spatulas and hats. Before I even used it once, I opened a cupboard door, the glass tipped over and shattered on the counter.Those of you who have purchased jars of olives or artichokes at Costco might be interested to know that those jars are nearly the same size and, I believe, contain between two and three times as much glass. They are much heavier and much less "tippy." I have returned to using those for the task of making my own sourdough sponge. I place coffee filter across the top of the jar because I cannot be bothered to manage these cute little hats. If I were to need temperature control, I'd buy that separately.

Bought as a gift for a friend and it was delivered in perfect condition with all items included.Best jar to use for starters and I love that it has the proper spatula.
