The door bracket on our Anderson storm door sheared off. I thought we would need to buy the entire door closer which would be pricey. But nope—this bracket kit worked perfectly. In fact, we didn’t need any of the parts except the bracket that connected the closer to the bracket on the door frame. It was a 3 minute fix. We used the original screws and left all the original parts. Perfect fit at a perfect price!

Would give 5 stars if you could just buy the piece that always breaks and if they would not break. BUT THIS IS JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN THE ANDERSON BRAND.

Solid door brackets and heavier made than the junk that came with the door. I have replaced the bottom one a year ago with one of these and low behold the top one broke. I got back on Amazon and ordered another one of these bracket kits for the top. They seem well made, heavier built is what you want, as the wind can be hard on these.

The arm thats held to the closer and gets screwed to the metal bracket on the door frame on my Anderson storm door snapped after 7 years. Looked at all the big box stores and no one had just the bracket. This little kit had the bracket I needed and it was almost an exact match. Took me 1 minute to unscrew the old one and put the new one in and now my door closer is working again.
