Alecaremed YM601 Pulse Oximeter, 4-Color for Small Fingers with 20 × Memory

I really like this unit. It has a great color screen, many functions and is easy to program and use. It's difficult to tell exactly how accurate it is, but I compared its results with another SpO2 unit I have, and it reads a number or two higher than that one, but the other is a much cheaper unit that I've questioned its accuracy for a while now. Compared to my doctors unit, this one seems to be nearly identical. While it's not a "cheap" unit, the build quality is very good and it seems like it will last a long time. The "history" function is also nice to keep track of how you're doing. I would buy this unit again.

Good pulse oximeter that I and my wife use. Seems accurate and the color screen is excellent, I like the memory features as well. That shows the previous readings as the meter starts up. Would buy again if needed.

I did alot of research before buying this one. The Visual Data Presentation is Great Large readable Color Display, also you can orientate the Screen to any side great for caregivers seeing the read out facing them or any angle. 20-Memory Function is great for recent readings or even show your Doctor your results. Super Quick readings. Light Weight. Settings / Setup Super easy. Anyone with Respirtory, Heart, or any other Health issues & Caregivers this is an - ABSOLUTE MUST TOOL - - Buy it -

The Amazon description says that this blood oxygen meter has an OLED display. That isn't correct. It is a backlit LCD display. I can see a faint white background when the device is turned on. The included User Manual even states: "Display type: OLED/TFT Display" so claiming this has an OLED display in the listing is specious at best. I purchased the black case version of this meter. Here are the specs taken from the User Manual since I couldn't find them online anywhere... IP Rating: IP22 W*H*D: 62 x 35 x 34 mm Weight: 30g (bare machine - no batteries) SpO2 accuracy 70% - 100%: +/- 2 digits SpO2 resolution: 1% Pulse rate accuracy 25 - 250 bpm: +/- 3 digits Pulse rate resolution: 1 bpm Operating temperature: 50F - 104F / 10C - 40C Storage temperature: -4F - 140F / -20C - 60C Operating humidity: 15-95% non-condensing Storage humidity: 10-95%, non-condensing Operating atmospheric pressure: 70 - 106 kpa Storage atmospheric pressure: 50 - 107 kpa Some operating notes: - When you first power on the device, it displays a welcome screen, version & history of previous readings. For my use, these displays are upside down if I hold the device in my right hand with the button oriented at the bottom since this is the most normal way to hold it for me. - The historical measurement table goes away in approximately 2 seconds which is not enough time to review any of the data. - To get into the setting menu, turn on the device, wait for the welcome screen, version & history go away then quickly press and hold the power button until the menu appears. If you don't do this quickly enough (with no finger inserted in the device), the device will power down again. If you are having trouble with getting the timing right, clamp the device on a finger first then power it on then press and hold the power button. - As the device measures the SpO2, there is a small purple countdown timer value displayed showing remaining time for the measurement. It counts down from 30 to 0. When the measurement is complete, there is no beep or any indication that the measurement is complete. The countdown value just disappears and is replaced by a "beep" on/off indicator in the display. The first few times I used this meter, I didn't know when the measurement was done but now I know. - Besides SpO2 and pulse rate, the device also displays "PI" (Perfusion Index) as a percent. There is no explanation of what this value represents in the User Manual. From the Internet, "Perfusion Index is a ratio that measures the amount of blood flowing through an area by comparing pulsatile blood flow to non-pulsatile blood flow in peripheral tissue, such as a fingertip. It is a measure of how well blood circulates in a specific part of your body. The normal perfusion index (PI) ranges from 0.02% to 20%. If the perfusion index is at or below 0.4% showing weak pulse strength, then the oximeter reading can be unreliable". Bottom line, if the PI value is too low, the device can't accurately measure your SpO2 level. Reposition your finger in the clamp and try again. - The beeper in this thing is pretty weak (at least to my aged ears). - I have no way to verify the absolute accuracy of this device. The specified +/-2 counts seems quite sloppy IMHO. All-in-all, I like this device so far. Cheers.

Best oximeter I bought. Has a memory so it stored so many works fast. I’m very accurate. Highly recommend.

If you need to see what you oxygen level were before this is great to use

good monitor, got it for my elderly parent and it works great!

Not accurate when checked along side my blood pressure machine. Off as much as 3 points.
