Great grater.
Great grater, this is my third over about fifteen years.

Sturdy Handheld Grater Outperforms Cheaper Countertop Models
Pasta is part of our weekly meal routine, and that often means some Parmigiano or other similar hard cheese. I have tried some of the cheaper options, but they fall apart after a couple of uses. I then have to revert to buying the pre-grated version, which costs a lot more and is typically not as good.I got the version of the grater without the little pot on the side, so for me, I grate the cheese directly onto the food or into another bowl.During use, it grates the cheese nicely and finely. Perfect for pasta. It does take some effort to grate the cheese, but it is worth it in the end. This is handheld, and you grip both parts together to apply pressure to the cheese. This works a lot better than the cheaper ones that stand on the worktop and wobble if you don't put pressure on them, then break if you do. The handle also stays on in use, another issue I have had with cheaper models.Whilst it is tricky to dismantle, it is easy to clean from there, as I just put it in the dishwasher and let that handle it.At £18 currently, I do think this is reasonably decent value for money. On the whole, I do like it, yes it can be tricky to dismantle and a bit tiring to use, but it does a great job.

Zyliss professional rotary grater
It is the most inefficient grater I have ever used. It is cumbersome and had only one grate size. I would not recommend it.

Not the best Design
The item works and we managed to grate cheese, but we are disappointed that there was no means of locking the blade cylinder and handles during use so there is a tendancy for it to fall apart during use and storage. We have since purchased a very similar product from Aldi costing under£2.00 that locks the handle with the rotating blade drum. The design needs to be reviewed

A bit useless

Hard to use and broke the second time it was used
The handle sticks and the drum is jerky to turn. Only lasted for 2 uses. On the 2nd use the drum collapsed when trying to grate some parmesan cheese. On the whole pretty useless.
User
It’s OK it does grate but I’ve had better!
This grater is OK, a little hard to hold and turn the handle plus it grates very fine. I would prefer a bit bigger pieces.
User
Super
Das war ein Geschenk an unseren Sohn. Er ist sehr begeistert. Dieses kleine Gerät ist um Klassen besser als ein vergleichbares von Leifheit.
User
Bella e robusta
