Very potent; a half a teaspoon has the caffine of about a cup of coffee. It has almost no taste, so it does not affect the taste of other beverages that it is added to. It has been ground to a fine powder.

Arrived quickly, but as others have said, it doesn’t dissolve as well as some of the alternatives. I use this to add a little ‘kick’ to homemade hot chocolate mix, but leftover chunks are unappealing at the bottom of the cup.

I purchased this guarana caffeine powder because I’m not a coffee drinker and wanted something to help keep me awake and energized at work. I also read that it’s similar to the energy boost you get from the protein at Tropical Smoothie. While it does give me energy, it doesn’t mix well in liquids and leaves clumps behind. I was hoping for a smoother blend, but it still provides the energy I need.
