Other plungers didn't work
Our main floor toilet gets the most use from us and guests. And it started backing up recently. We bought a couple different plungers after the last time it plugged up that were supposedly super suction and all. but this was a clog that just would not give up the ghost. So we called a plumber to see about snaking out the toilet. Then we realized he was going to charge us the price that a brand new toilet would cost... so that was out. So I jumped on amazon and started searching toilet snakes, and by chance this plunger showed up on the feed. I was a little leery from some of the reviews, but figured it couldn't hurt to try it for how low the price was. My wife taped off the toilet seat so nobody would use it, and we ordered Amazon prime delivery for the plunger. We had to pour bleach into the toilet to block off the smell for the next two days as we waited with bated breath... and plugged noses. :) but the Amazon driver dropped off our package and my Alexa beeped me to let me know the package had arrived. I rushed upstairs and opened the box. I have never been so excited to open an amazon box in my life. I pulled out the bag that had the plunger separated into two pieces, the head and the handle. I pulled it out, and a little card fell out that had the directions of how to put it together and use it. It was written in broken english, but I mean, I have screwed things together before, so considered myself and expert. i gently twisted the handle into the head part and gave it a good tug to make sure it wouldn't come off in the toilet. (I read other reviews). I looked at the instruction card one more time and noted the pictures... ok, it shows how to hold the handle, thats good. So now I was ready. I plugged my nose, entered the hazard zone of our bathroom, lifted the lid, gagged, stepped out a couple seconds, went back in and steadied myself. I then had to flush some water into the bowl since it had slowly emptied over the last two days. The water was that shade of brown like wet mud. Delightful. I then pushed the plunger head into the toilet watching it go into a murky brown sludge of water and prayed it would not be the last I would see of it... I then copied the picture and started gently pushing the plunger head into the water outlet part of the toilet and back and forth. I swear I could hear the toilet speak to me as the suction grabbed unknown things and started pushing them through. I suddenly hear this slushing of water as I pull the plunger all the way out, and the toilet begins to empty. It is a miracle. this thing saved the day. I then flushed the toilet a few more times to make sure it was clear, and poured some extra bleach in the bowl to sanitize it, and then tried to figure out how to clean the toilet plunger head. It is a silicon like rubber. So I just swished it around in the toilet bowl with the bleach water in it, and took it out and laid it on a towel to dry off. (that towel was a garage towel that will now be thrown away). The only thing missing about this toilet plunger is some sort of carry thing to drop it in when you aren't using it. I will have to look and see if I can find one of those toilet scrub brush holders that might do the trick. But this thing saved my family, my life, and my wallet. So in the spirit of Thanksgiving, which this whole scenario played out, I will add one more Thanks for myself and my family. Thank you plunger. You are a lifesaver.

It worked just when I was ready to give up
Short version: Clog cleared. It took effort and two days of trying. See long version for the technique. Cons: the handle keeps slipping off after multiple sessions. 5 stars it cleared the clog 4 stars the handle slips off Long version: I had the mother of all clogs. My faithful Korky could not budge it after two days of trying. I needed something for a siphon style toilet. I figured why not, give this a try. The reviews are positive and glowing. Ok, I will bite. First, mentally think about trying to pull the obstruction back out. Not pushing it further down the line. With that in mind, apply more force to pulling out than pushing in. Unlike a bellow style, you can't pulse the water to break the clog free. Yucky details (gory details omitted): Day 1 Indeed this technique worked as I was seeing "stuff" and then more "stuff." Note, start easy when you pulling. You need to gauge how much force to use so you don't splash yourself. But that was all I saw and no sign of the clog breaking down. I gave up and called it a day. Day 2 I am not one to be defeated by a turd. Throughout the day, I worked on it and by 9pm I was ready to throw in the towel. My options: Pull out the ancient 6foot snake and figure out how to avoid getting "stuff" everywhere or call a plumber. I gave the new plunger one more round and after a lot of effort, the clog broke free. There are certain sounds in life that are satisfying. The sound of a free running pipe is one of them. Don't give up, show your clog whose the boss. Good Luck and may your pipes run free.

It does help but is not a miracle-tool
I tried it twice so far and it did help loosen up a sluggish toilets. However, it didn't do it just in one shot and in the second case I still had to use a super-strong traditional plunger as well. These are low-flush toilets and are constantly clogging. I am happy to have bought this item to add to our toolbox. It is easy to use (just make sure it's inserted at an angle) and probably worth using before a toilet gets completely clogged.

Absolute lifesaver
We noticed our primary bathroom toilet, clogging up more often, but were able to unclog it with the plunger. Not this time! My husband and I tried plunging at least five different times for over five minutes with no success. I ended up seeing this product online with great reviews, and decided to give it a try, especially at such a great price point. My husband used it one time and it cleared up the clog immediately! Very effective and easy to use and put together. We are thrilled to have this product and it saved us a ton of money by not having to use a plumber.

Lifesaver- Goodbye plunger
I live in a double wide modular house in the country, needless to say my plumbing isn’t powerful like city toilets. I frequent have clogs, so for years I used a standard plunger. My wax seal in my one bathroom got damaged from plunger use, and now subfloor needs replaced. In my OTHER bathroom, my dad recommended the “closet/toilet snake” as his plumber friend said plungers frequently cause wax seal problems on toilets. I bought this and it has solved every clog from here on. I had to watch the video to verify I was using this correctly, and have had no problem. These tools can cost very expensive, so to find one <$20 is a MIRACLE. One of the greatest purchases, works great and no more damage on my toilet wax seal- which in the end will cost me hundreds of dollars to repair my subfloor in the other bathroom from the use of a plunger. Make the change!!

Life-Saver! Every home should have one!
I never leave reviews, but this time. I had to! I had a toilet clogged in my home, I'm no stranger to this, I have three boys and I unclog toilets at least weekly. Im pretty good at it :) However this time the plunger was not working. I tried the dish soap and hot water trick.. nothing. I even tried to snake it out. nothing. So I finally gave in and called a plumber, resigned to spending $200+ to get this fixed. The first available the plumber had was 3 days out. So I decided to order this plunger for same day delivery, for only $10 it was worth a shot. It worked! only took about 30 seconds and a few good plunges/pistons/whatever you call them... IT WORKED! I cancelled the plumber and now Im trying to decide how to spend the $200 I had set aside for the plumber :) BUY one of these now so you have it when you need it!

It actually works!!
I’ve bought many toilet remedies to try to fix an awful toilet that hasn’t been working for three months and spent probably $50. This is the first thing that actually worked. I never understood plungers that look like suction cups - I have never had any success with those and don’t see how they could be of help (but I do not have a masters in toiletology). This design actually makes sense in that it could actually do something if there is a clog, which there must have been. I’d give a higher rating based on it working, but I am deeply offended by the grammar of the instructions. I would think any third grade D student could use the English language better than those instructions did - extremely painful to read and it’s unprofessional to use the language that badly.

PUTTING PLUMBERS OUT OF BUSINESS
It’s 1:00 am in Texas. I’m leaving this review, because you people have to know about this product. My toilet has been clogged for weeks. I have plunged and plunged, flushed, poured I don’t know how many bottles of enzyme into it. And I have like a child ignored the problem because frankly it’s terrifying. My toilet looks like the entrance to hell. So, tonight I finally work up the nerve to give this thing a go. I inbox it. It screws together. That is not reassuring. It seems flimsy. I tiptoe into my master bathroom (I’ve been using the guest bathroom) and preparing. I dread opening the toilet bowl. I know not what fresh hell awaits me. I cuss a little bit and threatened the plunger trying to scare it into not breaking. My worst nightmare is it breaking off in the toilet and I would have to fish it out. I think I might sell my house and move before I did that. Anyway I stick it in. It goes really far. It’s kinda hard to pull out too. It better not splash in my face. I will drive straight to the ER if that happens. I plung a second and third time. Suddenly water starts running out of the toilet!!!! Omg it works. It works so well. 30 seconds and it was unclogged.

Toilet unclogged instantly
I was struggling to unclog the toilet for a couple of days. I tried all methods, like using dishwashing liquid to reduce friction, and baking soda with vinegar. However, as soon as I received this product and used it, the toilet was unclogged. Thank you.

Thank goodness it works
This was my last resort and it worked. I was flushing some food down the toilet and it got plugged. I tried a plunger, and those pressurized plungers in a can, both didn’t work. This really reached on and unclogged to debris. Not sure what to do with it now…
