Intex 28604BS 530 GPH 220-240 V Cartridge Filter Pump - Grey

I bought this 2 years ago and it's still going strong. It's attached to a rectangular pool and despite it sitting outside all year round through winter etc it's nothing has gone wrong with it. All the plastic jubilee clips are still tight and no sign of them breaking (something I actually expected to break first tbh) both the inlet and outlet hose are still good, the screw on lid to the filter housing and the rubber seal to keep it leak free are still in good condition and ultimately there's no leaks anywhere. The filter does a good job in keeping the pool water crystal clear every year and it doesn't necessarily have to be on 24 hours a day but this depends on the amount of muck gets in the pool. The filter combined with multi-action chlorine tablets and liquid clarifier as well as a surface scum remover to soak up oils and anything else that sits on top of the water all work great together and the cartridge seems to capture plenty of dirt and debris and washes out well under the hose pipe for re-use. I've since bought new filter cartridges as eventually the cartridges get filthy and need binning but they do last a while if looked after. There is minimal noise from the pump and tbh the water coming out and into the pool is the noisiest part. It's currently just under £60 which is a bit more than I paid I think but this is a good filter. The only upgrade I'd suggest is making the jubilee clips metal instead but other than that this is a decent filter.

Fed up of changing the pool water every few days in our 950l blow up pool, I bought this. The pool doesn't have any inlet ports on the sides, so it was a gamble that this would work. To begin with, it wouldn't, I could not get rid of air locks and the pump could not draw the water up and over the side of the pool. After wasting over an hour of my time, I decided to try priming the pump by taking the lid off the pump and pouring water directly into the pump where the filter sits, and as if by magic this solved the problem. The pump was now able to suck the water from the pool. With a little bit of tube tapping/shaking, and a bit of venting, the air bubbles came out and the flow rate was very strong. After 2 hours the pool was looking much clearer and cleaner and the filter was already half full of grass, sand and bugs (which was easily dealt with by washing it out under a tap). The other modification I made was to attach a weight to the tube sucking the water from the pool, to keep it on the bottom of the pool, so that it didn't float up and start sucking air in, otherwise everything is exactly the same as for use with an Intex pool. Priming is a massive time saver and gets it working when using with a pool without ports on the side.

I bought this for my kids' paddling pool. The installation is a bit fiddly as its not clear from the instructions which pipe connects to the top and bottom connectors. A bit of trial and error had it working OK and the results are good. It can also be used to add jacuzzi-style bubbles by removing a small plastic cap in the outlet pipe which the kids loved!

Received the new model a day earlier than expected. The new model of this pump is much quieter than the old one and removing air is simpler too. Very happy to ihr my purchase and service received.

All working well so far. Good flow rate and filter definitely reducing the algae level in my 8ft pool. The filter is easy to remove and clean with a garden hose, ready for its next use. Definitely recommend this pump/filter for an above ground pool. Doing a great job so far and have had the same water in the pool for 4 weeks now. Water is still clear and with a small addition of pool additives is getting plenty of use.

We bought this five years ago and I have come back to say we are very pleased with this pump. It's on most of the time and its not missed a beat. We don't treat it well , I only clean the filter when the flow starts to slow and the pump is probably working hard then. Paper cartridges work best and these can be cleaned a few times although life shortens each clean. Foam cartridges are attractive on long term cost but don't seem to work as well. For a 2x 3 m pool this is perfect

Purchased as an upgrade for our 10ft Bestway frame pool, it is an absolute treat! We buy the replacement filters from a local swimming pool specialist and they're much better than the supplied ones. Pump has a much higher flow rate, which means its not on as long. EDIT - pump lasted exactly 12 months from the purchase date, same as the previous Intex filter pump. Time to try a different make!

Ich hätte die Intex C 1000 von vornherein bestellen müssen. Die Rückgabe der Pumpe an die Fa. Miganeo erfolgte problemlos. Dies nenne ich hervorragenden und beispielhaften Kundenservice! Malgré un montage correct approuvé par plusieurs personnes... la pompe tourne dans la mauvais sens! Il s'avère qu'une amie qui a acheté le même produit peu avant moi a le même souci (première photo), et son papa également! Chez moi (photo 2). Défaut de série probablement... ceci dit, la débrancher c'est perdre 2m3 d'eau!
