Ruby Rd.Women's Pull-on Solar Millennium Tech Super Stretch Pant

I’ve been buying these pants for about 4-5 years. Yes, they run quite large, but you know that and buy at least 1 size smaller. I love them because they are incredibly stretchy but maintain a deep black color regardless of the amount of hot water and soap I use on them. They look great in a business casual setting, especially in the black color since others won’t notice the jeans-style detailing—I literally base my work uniform on them and own between 7-10 pairs at any given time. They have been a great foundation piece that is comfortable and flattering. Unfortunately, like many manufacturers of clothing, they have recently decided to save on cost by changing the fabrication. My most recent pairs purchased in April are noticeably thinner than previously-purchased pairs. This is unfortunate because now, they allow VPL and will most certainly not wear as well. I would much prefer to pay more and receive the better quality item. Hugely disappointed in this decision!!

I was not confident when I ordered these, as pants are very difficult to get a good fit. I was very surprised and pleased when I got them. The quality and workmanship is very good, as is the fit. I ordered a size 8, and it was only slightly looser in the waist than some of my other size 8 pants. The leg is straight and narrow, but not at all tight. They are a very nice, light material that feels like it should wear well. The white color is bright and the stitching is professional. I got them to wear with flats, but could easily wear a small heel with them. I will definitely get more from Ruby Rd!

I feel like a frumpy old lady wearing these pants. They run large. My hip measurement is 40" and I got a size 8 (sizing down one because I read they run big) and they are still kinda loose, even after washing and drying. They are well tapered to the waist for me though, and my natural waist measurement is 25". As I walk, the pants bunch up, pulling away from my ankles. I'm 5'-5" and if the pants didn't bunch up, they would otherwise be the perfect length for wearing with flats. I think they are too short to wear with heels. The pants are extra loose at the knee. I would describe the fit as similar to relaxed fit jeans. The fabric is very stretchy, but also very thick yet lightweight at the same time, and prone to wrinkles. The fabric feels cheap. The pants are reasonably comfortable though.

These are great slim fitting (but not constricting) pants, perfect for longer tops and tunics. Cannot see through them or notice panty lines. I am usually between a 6 and 8 in pants. The size 8 were huge/ falling off and the size 6 were perfect. They felt a touch snug when first putting on but they did loosen up... not so much that they became or looked baggy. ONE THING TO BEWARE-- DO NOT PUT IN THE DRYER!!!! Although the wash instructions state that you can put them in the dryer they will shrink a lot...several inches in my case. Before I washed them I had to fold the hemline up 2 times (I am 5' 4") I washed them and let then air dry for the most part about 45 minutes and then threw them in the dryer for 10 minutes to help de-wrinkle. What a mistake!!! I had to remove the hem, stretch the pants with my steam iron (with a lot of huffing, pulling, stretching and grumbling) This got them at least long enough so I could re-hem with the absolute minimal hem possible. PHEW. Hope this will not happen with 100% air dry.

I will eventually own a pair of these in every color, they are such good pants. The comfort of stretch with the crispness of tailored and very slimming. I'm 5'5" 175 lbs and normally wear a size 16 pants. I ordered my first pair in 16 and, while they're not so loose as to need returning, I felt I could go down to a 14 in my next order. Since then I've ordered two more pair, first a 12 and then, to my amazement, a 10. The 10's are my favorite fit -- and I haven't worn a 10 in 40 years, so definitely go down at least one size. And prepare to be impressed.

All I can say is... wow.My height and weight are 5'1"and 116 pounds. The pants couldn't fit more perfectly.They are professional looking and also have a comfortable stretch since they are made out of 19% Nylon.The pockets in front are fake but the back are real. I ordered 4Petite.

I discovered this line of ladies pants about 3 years ago and bought 2 prs of the white, which I wore to work (in a law office) almost daily throughout the spring & summer months. They were so comfortable and wore extremely well. The wide elastic waist band didn't roll down, like some do after a while. I like (& need) the two functional pockets in the back, as I have to carry my cell phone with me everywhere. The fabric is lightweight but not so much that your underwear shows through. When I discovered they made these in gray, I ordered a pair. They're just as comfortable and well-made as the white. I'm very pleased with these pants and will definitely buy more when necessary.

This material is the same material express work pants used to be made out of 5-10 years ago. It was my favorite as it's very comfy and professional looking. At first these pants felt like they were pulling in the legs but after wearing felt better. I would buy your normal size but really depends on how curvy you are and how you like to wear your pants. I would say this is a straight leg cut, wish they also came in bootcut and wide.

Ok first off, I am 5 foot 3, 110 pounds. I bought the 6p because I like my pants to be a little lose. When I got them I was surprised at how lose they were so I bought the 4p as well. This one was a little bit tighter and seemed perfect. Upon the first wash I found the 6p shrunk to the size of the 4p and the 4p were now tighter than I liked (probably “normal fit” instead of slightly lose). I still like the pants and highly recommend buying them regardless of the shrink! Super stretchy but look professional. They have a thick material that doesn’t wrinkle if you take them out of the dryer right away. I wore them in warmer and cooler weather and find them to work in both. I thought this information might help those who are conflicted between two sizes - it may shrink a size upon first wash! Good luck everyone!

Material was not as expected, fit was. Fabric was not soft and when washed did shrink a little. Quality is ok if you are looking for a pant for day to day wear. Not a pant I would recommend for going out or dressing up.

I like the fit and look of the pant. The picture on Amazon doesn’t do the pants justice. Because of the way they are shown, I hesitated to order them, because I could return them, I ordered them and took the chance. Glad I did. Carol

I am 5 ft 4 and they fit like they were custom made. Very good quality and very comfortable. My new favourite pair of work slacks. May need to buy another pair!

Really like the fit. They are very comfortable. If these hold up to other pants made of the same material will be over the moon with my purchase. Will write later recview as they hold up. I liked them so much have ordered a pair in white.
