Really happy with this product, did not make it as the leaflet advised, I made a 5x2 with space under for storage. My two guinea pigs love how much space they have and the cage itself was surprisingly sturdy. It took a bit of time to work out how best to build it, but it was very easy to do once I figured it out. I find it’s very safe for the guinea pigs, the bars are not too far away and the size I have built is plenty big enough for zoomies! Definitely suitable for guinea pigs and have bought another so I can add more grids to the storage base to make it sturdier and maybe even to make a loft. Oh I would also like to note the massive price difference between this and the “branded” ones.

This has made an amazing indoor guinea-pig home, sturdy, easy to build, make it totally unique and to the size you need, wipe clean bars, feels good quality and WAY cheaper than the other brands that sell these....saved well over £100!

Bunnies love it, its massive compared to normal rabbit cages. I've now bought 2 and will probably buy more. Theres plenty of room for them to run about, room for litter trays, food, hay rack, toys, bed, tunnels etc. The top tips:- 1. if used as shown .... you must cover the wire base with something to stop little legs going through, I used cardboard at first but bunnies ate it, so now using hardboard. Am going to cover it with sticky back plastic for easy cleaning. 2. If you have spring loaded jumping bunnies, and have a middle floor, they will jump out, so it will need covering. For which I'm currently using their old cage wire. But going to buy another pack for this. 3. You need to put 2 panels together to make a ramp, but I was still worried about little legs getting stuck. So a trip to pets at home I found a bunny log roll for £7 which is perfect laid flat on the ramp and fixed with cable ties, and now bunnies find it much easier. 4. If I could add one thing, it would be doors, if put together similar to the picture, it's impossible to get to the bottom layer, even with the hoover pipe without moving the cage. So I've had to leave a few panels open, and just attached with cable ties as a hinge. I suspect they will figure out chewing the cable ties works, so going to look for something else but this works for now. 5. there is no floor and when you have a lazy bunny who doesnt "go" in her litter tray unless it's right next to her, it's going to need some form of base. 6. Make sure the panels are clipped properly into the clips as far as they will go, and don't put the cable ties on till you're happy with the shape and it's all together properly. The hammer isnt much use unless you've got a really stubborn panel that wont go all the way in. So all in all, the bunnies love it, it looks great, it's very sturdy when assembled correctly, and theres plenty of space. don't expect it to be perfect straight out of the box, it WILL need modifications. But it's easy enough to modify to make a perfect bunny home. Just how you and they like it. And it's cheaper than anything unsuitable you'll get in a pet shop.😁😁🐇🐰

It is not always easy to get the grids fully into the connectors, hence the mallet, and that can be awkward depending on where you are in the construction. Some of the grids arrived with some of the wire mesh not fully attached which is dangerous for animals. The non-slip floor pads came adrift within a week and left a sticky mess on the connectors and stains on the floor. I bought this product because I thought the half size grids the company sells in a different pack would allow for more flexible constructions but they won't sell any of the parts separately so it that makes it difficult to make the constuction you want without buying the full specified sets and having too many spares. I wish I had bought the amazon basics equivalent which has smaller square mesh although I think the size of the mesh in this product is ok for guinea pigs as long as you make the correx base high enough. Wouldn't use it for any smaller animals and probably better for animals larger than guinea pigs if you are not going to line the base and sides to some extent.

It was really easy to build and I think has very customisable ways if you do not want to do it the way they have it. Highly recommend for everyone especially beginners who are taking care of guinea pigs

We bought 2 packs with the intention of replacing cages for our new rabbit and our 2 Guinea pigs. I had to use less for the GP cage than I planned as despite measuring, it felt bigger when built. We replaced a 3 tier cage with a 2 tier with a big bottom tier for lots of run space. Was easy to build in a door so they can get out and about daily and guineas are definitely happier in new home. The Rabbit home was a little different, he isn't caged but free roaming with a big walk in cupboard of living room turned into his "room", in which I was able to build a 3 tier bedroomy place with the panels etc. Although this was open, having flaps at the top to access for easy cleaning is great. Using ties makes this a doddle, he uses every floor and the top bunk of his cage was immediately his sleeping quarters. I still have panels left over which have come in handy to block of wire area and behind couch. Next summer I may get a load more and create a play area in the garden, couldn't be happier with these, cheaper than the main brands and just as good. Being able to create exactly what I required rather than live with regular cages allows my animals to gain more freedom and happiness, that's incredible value.

These grids were an excellent solution for homing my guinea pigs. Assembly was straight forward as well as the addition of the rubber mallet to help with some stubborn pieces. For reference, I bought 3 sets of these grids which was a cheaper alternative to other C and C cage websites. I have some very happy guinea pigs now 🙂

Absolutely amazing! I made a 2x6 cage with a second story and 4 grids on the floor to make sure it doesn’t bend. Was a little bit of paint chipping on the bars (my fault) be careful where you hit the hammer. Comes with zip ties and anti slip circles. you don’t have to make the cage in the photos either
