Works like youd think
Works perfectly for the intended purpose of using two headphones on one mp3 player

Review Updated. Thought cable was bad but was mistaken
I've had nothing but problems with this cable. I thought it was my wireless headphones audio cable which is hard wired into the receiver. I would just jiggle it and then it would start working. But then one time I disconnected this cable and went straight in without this cable, and the signal was perfect. Plugged it back in, same thing. All somebody has to do is walk by this thing and their footsteps can sometimes set it off and then I only got one channel on my headphones. So I had a different brand on hand so plugged that in and now it's working perfectly. Too late to send it back now. It's just sitting on a countertop not being moved around whatsoever since I first started using it so nothing that I did should have caused this :(( UPDATE: I don't think it was this cable. As time went on I had the same problem with other cables. Turns out to be my wireless headphone cable

It worked well watching movies on my iPhone, while my wife and I flew to Hawaii.

Excellent Sound!

Poor fit
The plug is longer than a standard plug making it a challenge to plug into other sockets. The two sockets do not fit standard plugs well and you have to jiggle them to make them work properly. It DOES work which is why I gave it 3 stars rather than one.
