Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo Spray

This stuff is so awesome. There is something about the Drybar hair products, this one and also the pink Heat protectant setting spray, Hot Toddy: They have some ingredient that just leaves your hair feeling so good. And they smell amazing. This dry shampoo leaves my hair feeling fluffy clean. (Not fluffy in a bad way, but brought back to life, and fresh.) **I never would have tried their products (because of price), but someone gave me a sample of the heat protectant spray, and it fixed my hair problem. This dry shampoo, I have used for many months now. Excellent. It keeps me from looking oily when I don't wash my hair. And these products last a long time. On days I don't wash my hair, I use this, then spritz with some rose water so my hair doesn't look dry, then finish with hairspray. I've gotten hair compliments even after I didn't wash my hair from the gym. TRY THIS. Just make sure to work it into your hair enough, mainly the roots, so that you get the freshness from it, and don't see any residue. And, it's best to use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week (my hair stylist recommended), I use a great one by Paul Mitchell, called Shampoo 3, clarifying. That product lasts a long time, too, if used weekly.

I have used this product for a long time so the first time I got a can that didn’t spray correctly I thought it was just a fluke. The 2nd time I was irritated the 3rd time I was angry. I liked this product and have used it for many years but now I can’t possibly recommend it. I don’t know what happened to this product but I would never waste my money on it again! Do not waste your money there are many more reliable products out there.

Love, love, love! A little goes a long way. That’s good to know because it smells so scrumptious you just want to keep spraying! You don’t need to, tho. Works so well for all your dry shampoo styling trix you have. Did I mention that it smells SO GOOD! A feminine version of sandalwood and botanicals

I’m a cosmetologist and I’ve tried a lot of dry shampoos. Like A LOT. This is one of my all time favorites for myself. I like the scent. It’s a very clean scent with a hint of floral. The sprayer always works and disperses a good amount of product. It also does its job. My hair feels clean and it’s soaks up any oil or left in product. I was also around cigarette smokers today and didn’t want to wash my fresh blowout out so I sprayed this all over my hair and it took that awful smoke smell away. To use this correctly though, spray 6-8 inches away from the scalp and spray the roots in sections. Let it sit for like 5 minutes and then brush your hair. It does have a bit of color. It’s almost a flesh toned spray which I haven’t seen before. I have brown hair with blonde balayage and a bright blonde money piece. This time works for my hair and after I brush the product in I don’t notice any color payoff. If you have dark brown to black hair though I’m not sure this will work for you. Maybe they have this in a dark toned version? I don’t know. If your sprayer is clogged just hold it under super hot water and wipe the excess off. It should be fine. The only bad thing is the price for this tiny bottle is way too high. It’s why I don’t buy it that often unless it’s on sale somewhere. I could buy another brand and the price point would get me at least twice the amount of product.

This is my go-to dry shampoo. It does a great job absorbing excess oil and leaving my hair looking refreshed without needing a full wash. One of the things I love most is the scent—it smells amazing and honestly unlike any other hair product I’ve tried. It also doesn’t leave much visible residue, which is a big plus. If there is any slight white cast at first, it’s easy to blend in by just massaging it with your fingers. Overall, it makes my hair feel clean and gives it a nice refreshed look between washes.

I have heard rave reviews about this product. So I decided to try it and I was not disappointed. I love the smell and the ease of use.

My cap was broken, so when you pressed down nothing came out ☹️😞😢 I tried everything...it wasn't clogged. Not sure what the deal was. Normally I love!
