Solves the Open Ground Error on My RV โ Simple and Effective
Solves the Open Ground Error on My RV โ Simple and Effective I'd give this Dreyoo neutral ground bonding plug a solid 4 stars. If you run a portable inverter generator with a floating neutral to power your RV or camper, this little plug is exactly what you need to eliminate that frustrating open ground error that surge protectors throw when the neutral isn't bonded. It's a simple, straightforward solution that plugs directly into the generator outlet and does its job quietly without any fuss. The orange color makes it easy to spot and identify among other plugs and accessories, and having a 2-pack is a smart value since you can keep one with the generator and one as a backup. Build quality feels adequate for the application and it has worked reliably in my RV setup without any issues. The only reason I'm holding back a star is that it's a very single-purpose item, and at the price point some may feel it's a bit much for what is essentially a simple bonding plug. That said, if you need it, you need itโand this one works as intended.

Excellent for Powerstation to EV Charging
Got this because I needed a ground to ground my portable power station to charge my EV car in case of emergency. Works like magic with no issues. Nothing crazy or technical about this device. It just works. If you need to ground your portable power station for whatever you use it for, get one of these plugs. Cheap and well worth it.

Simple Fix for Open-Ground Errors โ Works Exactly as Needed
These neutral-ground bonding plugs do exactly what theyโre supposed to. I use them with a portable inverter generator, and they immediately clear the open-ground error you get with floating neutral setups. No more false warnings on the RV panel or surge protector. Plug it in, and youโre doneโno tools, no wiring, no hassle. Build quality feels solid, the fit is secure, and the two-pack is convenient so you can keep a spare in your RV or toolkit. If youโre running a generator for an RV, camper, or any setup that complains about open ground, this is an easy, reliable fix that just works.

Great but could use some warnings
Worked great to use with honda generator in train furnace. But the item itself should have a safety label on it to make sure that no one plugs this in into a wall outlet

Great solution for an "unbonded" generator.
These "plugs" are a perfect solution for bonding an unbonded generator. Here's how it works. When you have a "portable" generator, those generators are built with a bonded neutral. If you are using it "in the field", or, powering your house with extension cords, that's fine. You want the generator to be bonded. But, if you connect that generator to your main panel, especially if you are using an "interlock" device, you should not have a "double bond". The panel is already bonded. So, you should. "unbond" the portable generator. Easy to do. Look it up. But if you then want to use the generator not connected to the panel, this plug will again resume the bond. Very simple. Very inexpensive. Again...look it up.

Great for what they are designed to do. Bad if you think it replaces an earth/soil ground-rod.
These Plug adapters are great for what they are designed to do - solve problems created by smarter electrical devices that require both the 120v flat blade and the round neutral "negative" prongs of the generator or battery power-station outlets to be bonded "connected" to the neutral "negative" bus-bars - contained within the generator or battery power-station itself. If the 120v outlets are not both already connected in this way - this "Neutral Ground Bonding Plug" adapter effectively remedies that situation. However, it's bad business if people falsely believe these kind of adapters offer any "grounding" safety advantages similar to that of residential/commercial electrical outlets which tie back into a main electrical circuit-breaker panel/sub-panel which is, by National Electric Code (NEC), also bonded "grounded" electrically to an outdoor an earth/soil ground-rod. The ground rod is literally pounded in the ground "soil" of the earth. Because portable generators or battery power-stations are, "portable" by design, they lack the safety advantages derived from an earth "soil" ground-rod connectivity. With that in mind, people might consider also adding/using an inexpensive, short, 3 foot in-line "extension cord - like" quick-trip GFCI "ground fault circuit interrupter" or equivalent (sold on Amazon) to any portable generator or battery power-station - and especially in any outdoor or high moisture environments. For reference, you might notice that most every residential/commercial bathrooms, kitchens our outdoor electrical receptacle outlets already have GFCI outlets installed - by design, code and for similar or exact reasons. Finally, what might also be considered a outdoor high moisture or risk-"on" environment etc.: picnics, camping, RV/Travel Trailer Parks, Construction Job Sites, off-grid shelters, home electrical grid-failure/emergencies, etc. I always add 120v GFCI outlet features to my portable generators and batter power-stations before operating them. Note - Some generators/power-stations already have GFCI outlets installed from the factory. Consider checking with the manufacture of your portable generator or battery power-station - if you are unsure. Your mileage may vary.
