External CD DVD Drive, Ultra Slim CD Burner USB 3.0 with 4 USB Ports and 2 TF/SD Card Slots
I recently got my hands on the External CD DVD Drive, Ultra Slim CD Burner USB 3.0 with 4 USB Ports and 2 TF/SD Card Slots, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This device is a game-changer for anyone who still values the utility of CDs and DVDs while needing modern connectivity options.First off, the plug-and-play functionality is a dream. I didn’t have to fuss with installing drivers—it worked seamlessly with my laptop right out of the box. The USB 3.0 technology ensures fast data transfer, which is a huge plus when burning CDs or transferring files. It’s noticeably quicker than older USB 2.0 drives I’ve used in the past. What really sets this drive apart is its 8-in-1 versatility. The additional USB ports and TF/SD card slots are incredibly convenient. I’ve used them to connect my external hard drive and transfer photos from my camera’s SD card without needing extra adapters. It’s like having a mini docking station! The design is another highlight. It’s ultra-slim and lightweight, making it easy to carry around in my laptop bag. The built-in cable management is a thoughtful touch, and the anti-slip rubber pads keep it stable on my desk.Overall, this external drive is a fantastic blend of functionality, speed, and portability. Whether you’re looking to burn discs, transfer files, or expand your laptop’s connectivity, this device delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

Outstanding DVD/CD player with many options and compatible with Windows 11
New computers are no longer adding DVD/CD players. You will need to purchase an External player. I searched all over to find just a player, but mostly I found burners. I discovered this player and decided to try it out. I had to download a free app off the internet to run this player. I found it easy to use. Another great thing about it, it has many different options including 2 USB A ports, 1 USB C port, 1 Sd card slot and 1 TF card slot. It also has a network port. The price was great. The player quality of the picture and sound were great.

Works well, some glitches on M2 Airbook. Great Value
This is an excellent product for it's extremely low price. It's compact, and it does what I need it to do (read CDs and DVDs). I've not yet tried to burn a CD or DVD (I have no real need for that).I've used it on my Ubuntu Linux desktop, and my Airbook M2 running Sequoia. The Airbook is a bit weird in that the drive won't identify itself and respond to the Airbook unless it has media in the drive. Contrary to the tips, for me it only worked on the Airbook WITHOUT the external power supply. The order is in the Origibelie notes, but they say to connect the external power (with media in the drive) and then connect it to the Airbook. My Airbook only runs it a 1x speed when ripping a CD; Linux used 4X or 8X (hard to be sure).

It works perfectly and is very easy to use!
This CD/DVD reader and writer is just what I needed. Its USB 3.0 and Type-C connection makes it compatible with virtually any device, and the reading and writing speed is excellent. I used it on my Windows 11 laptop and on my MacBook, and in both cases it was recognized immediately without the need to install additional drivers. It is compact, lightweight and easy to carry, ideal for watching movies, installing software or burning backup discs. Plus, its sleek and sturdy design gives the feeling of a high-quality product. Very satisfied with the purchase and totally recommended!

Surprisingly Great Quality — A Must-Have Backup Tool
This arrived very carefully packaged, and I was impressed right away by the presentation — the DVD burner itself came in a soft velvet bag, and everything listed was included. The device feels solid and well-built, not flimsy like some other external drives I’ve tried. The DVD player works as expected, and I appreciate how sleek and compact it is. It’s funny how we don’t think about needing something like this — until suddenly we do. And yes, CDs and DVDs are still relevant, especially for folks like me who edit videos and want a reliable way to burn them to disc.Glad to have this on standby. It does exactly what I hoped it would, and it’s one of those tools that’s great to have around even if you don’t use it daily.

It happens to the best of us
I ordered thisNew External CD DVD Drive, Cool DVD Burner USB 3.0 with Ethernet Adapter, 3 USB and 2 TF/SD Card Ports, CD DVD Player Reader Writer Optical Disc Drive for Laptop PC Windows Mac with Carrying Case. Very nice External CD DVD drive. When I bought it, I didn’t have my lap top yet, which wasn’t a problem. I looked the product over to make sure that it hadn’t been miss handled. I found no problem at all, the packaging was, be on good I was very pleased. I put the CD drive back into its case and back into it box and put it away until my laptop came in. Once the laptop came in I started getting all my photos together in folders so I could move them off my laptop on to CD’s, that’s when I found that the IN/OUT button didn’t work. I would have to take a small push pin to open the CD disk. I thought it was just me, but it wasn’t. You would have to use the push pin whenever you wanted to get the door open. The window was closed on March 8, 2025, to return and I understand I’m way past that date. But I was wondering if there was a way to return to get it fixed, I really can’t use it the way it is but I am willing to, if the price was right send it back to get it repaired.
