Yes, soldiers can be placed in the back. The top is also removable.

Why are two tiny plastic trucks so expensive? I would love to get them for my grandson but he wants 4.

They are classic toy army men trucks they were brought back into production not long ago after years of collectors asking for them. They were first produced in 1964 and ran until 1990. They are awesome for any army men toy soldiers for kids or collectors. I loved mine when I was a kid and still do to this day and I have several with different colors too. I hope this helped some.

Very well made plastic army truck set!

This is my second set I purchased for my grandson. He loves TimMee toys, and Amazon is the perfect place to get them. They do get delivered in a plain brown box, so I did stitch him up a bag to keep all of the pieces in so they do not get lost! He is 8 and it is the perfect age to enjoy these toys!
