Bonsaii 15-Sheet Cross-Cut 40-Min Heavy Duty Paper Shredder for Home Office

This shredder is quite the machine. I had hours of shredding to do and this shredder held up. It never overheated and worked continuously. I would highly recommend this product. In fact I am considering buying a second one to keep close to the front door so that my shredding doesn’t pile up like it has in the past. The size is perfect. The door is easy to open and empty. It is fast, and handles 12 sheets easily. I love everything about this and only wish i had purchased this sooner. It doesn't jam unless you get careless and try to send way more than 12 sheets through but easily unjams. I cant say enough wonderful things about this Bonsai printer.

Perfect for composting! I really wanted to shred cardboard instead of wetting and cutting. This guy's first job was to shed it's own corrugated shipping carton, and it didn't disappoint. The thin amazon boxes are even faster. The machine doesn't complain or overheat for two regular sized boxes. I haven't done more than that at one time. It's serious overkill for regular paper, unless you're shedding a lot of it. It's actually a lot quieter than my small paper shredder. It's light weight, so i don't bother with the drawer, just tip the whole thing over into my storage tub. The machine part is the heaviest but it's not bad. Edit to add: It's been almost a year and the shredder is still doing great. It's absolutely wonderful to have the perfectly sized cardboard shreds I can add directly to the compost pile when I need quick browns. The machine hasn't slowed down yet.

Powerful multi-page shredder. Bought one when I needed to clean out my parents' home after they passed. 30 years of files, mostly unnecessary to keep, gone in about a week with a couple hours per day of sustained effort. It took staples and credit cards really well. Always able to clear the minor jams that inevitably occur when you will stuff too much in one go. Easy to use. Bin was well-sized for emptying into full-size trash bags. Excellent value; would buy again! But it didn't break yet.

First off, this works on cardboard. I couldn't find that in any of the reviews, so I'll just park that little factoid right up front. You're welcome. Listen. I don't write product reviews. I don't sit around and talk about shredders and office products. I raise worms and make compost as a hobby, and my partner orders things from Amazon. A lot. I love her. I have an old Royal shredder I got like a decade ago from Sam's Club. I use it to shred old bills once a year or so, and it gets grumpy. It's always gotten grumpy. This is not a new development. I've started using it to shred cardboard for composting and for my worms, and it gets grumpier. So, there was a sale, and I bought this bad boy. When it got here and I unpacked it, my partner had 3 of her own Amazon boxes arrive. I also had several boxes around from prior orders I hadn't managed to shred yet, because the old grumpy shredder couldn't run for more than 2 or 3 minutes without stopping to cool. To be fair, I live in Texas, and it's July. I need to cool off after shredding for 3 minutes. Still. I got this monster out of the box and plugged it in and tried to see if regular cardboard would fit without pushing like crazy, and it did. But you already knew that. Awesome. It's a little slower than my old shredder, but it didn't change speed when it was between feedings. It just goes. It's like the tortoise in the fable. I wonder how much this thing will take. 35 gallons. I made 35 gallons of shredded cardboard. I made a little over 20, at first, with just the regular wimpy Amazon boxes. Never. Slowed. Down. Also, when it takes a break and is waiting for you to feed it, or empty the rapidly filling bucket, or squee with joy to your partner, it has a pleasant little fan noise. It's just pacing itself. I bought a bedroom TV during Prime Day sales, I wonder what it'll do with the double thick box they shipped that in? It slowed down. The tiniest, barely perceptible amount, but it did slow down. It made 3 cubic feet of cross cut sheds out of it. I wonder what it'll do with that old double thick cardboard they shipped my computer in? It made a million little confettis out of it.* Long story short, this thing is a beast. Do not buy this to shred something once a week. Do but buy this to shred one household of mail. Buy this to shred every bill you've ever received. Buy this to erase any record of your existence. Buy this to shred the patriarchy, and to make your worms a year's worth of bedding. You will not be disappointed, unless you like waiting for shredders that need to rest. Then, you'll be bummed for about an hour. I put cardboard through this thing for 30 minutes, only stopping to find more cardboard. It never blinked. BRB, I have to ask the neighbors for their cardboard. And 2 x 4s. *I did not count.

First 30 min of owning it, shredded giant stacks of documents, I have a tote of stuff to shred. It's a work horse. I filled the bin 2.5 times already. Shreds fast. I wish the bin was a little bigger it fills fast, but the size of the machine is what I needed overall. Hasn't jammed, works non stop. The fan kicks off and on for a long time after use. Not sure I like that part. My only complaint is the fan running after use for so long, and the hole is literally 8.5" wide. The paper kinda doubles over on the cornner of the documents on the left side by the time it finishes.

This is a decent home device for small office use. I’ve not had any problems with it.

Great purchase. I got the 15 sheet paper shredder and I've put it to a very hard test run. I've run alot of pop can boxes and even regular cardboard box's in this machine and it works great. If you get loads of boxes like cereal, pop, or even amazon boxes thus works great. You can even shred the box it comes in

Good product. It's generally pretty quiet compared to past shredders we've owned. This one can shred multiple pieces of paper without any jamming. This will also easily handle credit cards and hotel room keys without any effort. The only con I've found to this shredder so far, the paper bin tilts out. If full, you'll get shreds EVERYWHERE! A lot of shreds seem to remain on the tines and do not fall until bumped when removing the bin. I've learned to keep the vac very close when I decide to empty this. Otherwise-I'd buy another one in the future!

Not a great paper sensor, alot of the time i have to put the paper in and out before the shredder senses it and starts... there is definitely a lag. and it Incredibly SLOW. The slot is deep before it hits the teeth so if you have small scraps like grocery receipts, its not great. it also back spins everytime it stops, and then takes forever to read the next sheet of paper (in out in out .. finally, it reads it) On the positive, i use it mainly for cardboard and so far it chews it up nicely (still a bit snug fitting the cardboard in the slot, but it fits). i havent had it over heat yet either
