Nespresso Compatible Universal Coffee Machine Descaler - 200ml

This is my second pack of this descaler for my bean-to-cup coffee machine, and I think it’s excellent. You get four doses in the pack, which is advertised as a year’s supply, although that obviously depends on how often you use your machine.I descale my machine every time the descale light comes on. I’m not actually sure how often that is, but I’ve written the date down this time so I can keep track.It’s very simple to use. The most difficult part is probably peeling off the leakproof seal on the bottle! Once opened, you simply pour half the bottle into the water reservoir and run the descale cycle. My machine slowly pumps it through over several minutes, with pauses where the solution sits inside the machine before continuing the cycle. I then refill the reservoir with clean water once, and the machine completes the rinse cycle.I tend to collect the water in a pint glass and keep an eye on it so it doesn’t overflow as the machine empties. I then pour it into my kettle, so the remaining descaling solution also descales my kettle at the same time. I normally buy a dedicated kettle descaler, but I’ve found this works brilliantly, and I’ve actually been more impressed with it.I’d definitely recommend this to anyone with a bean-to-cup coffee machine. I also use the same brand’s cleaning capsules that go through the grinder to remove oily coffee residue, and I’d recommend those as well. I originally bought them by mistake thinking they were descaling tablets, but they’ve turned out to be a really useful companion product to use alongside the descaler.Overall, this is easy to use, effective, and great value for money.

I can’t comment on the effectiveness of this, I can’t see inside to see what it looks like therefore it would be wrong of me to give it the 5 stars it probably deserves. However I can say that my 5 year old machine is still in daily use and showing no signs of giving up. The descaler is easy to use, combining the instructions in the pack with the machines instructions. I descale the machine twice a year, so one pack lasts a year as you use half the contents each time.So I continue to use this make, the price is comparable and order to delivery is quick and easy. I have no hesitation in recommending.

Was looking for good brand and decent price. Easy to use in coffee machine. Will help keep in top notch condition even though in low calc area still good to use now ant then

Worked perfectly.

It's OK, not amazing. I tried other ones not liquid but in powder and they worked better. This one has a strong smell for me and although it's easy to use it wasn't truly efficient as claimed by others

Delivery time was quite long. Only the bottle without original package was supplied. There was no seal mechanism in the bottle. Used for Nespresso Lattissima One. It worked. I would advise the seller to deliver in sealed original package in the future.
