Not cheap but it's really good quality and very evident. Even the box and packaging it arrives in is exceptional. The base has a good solid weight to keep it still, along with very well placed silicone strips on the base which hold it firm to the counter. Quality excells, it's undeniably a premium towel holder. I'm not sure where others are struggling to tear off a single sheet? It's so easy. I don't really need to explain a simple action of tearing off a sheet of kitchen towel. Either you can or you can't. My family can, with ease. If you want something exceptional and need a holder that stops the towel unravelling in the kitchen or outside in the wind, this is the one I'd recommend with no reservations. Just do the right thing; pull gently downwards, don't just yank it towards you 😉
