I purchased this for my college daughter as she was afraid she'd fall out of the lofted bed. It was very easy to assemble. She even likes that it folds down making it easy to get out of bed if needed (she doesn't usually get out of bed that way). It's soft and will hold her if she lays up against it. The price is decent and matches the quality of the product. I would suggest this to new college freshmen or even toddler parents. It's easy to use, affordable, and very convenient.

We actually bought this for our elderly dog who kept falling out of our bed. But so easy to put together and install. It only takes up half of the side of the bed, so it’s not too long. The height works great with our bed. We don’t have it hooked on anything under the bed, it’s just stuck between our mattress and bed stand. But it really doesn’t move much, and sometimes he puts his whole weight against it while sleeping and no moving! Its great.

Installed in my son’s twin bed with an 8 inch memory foam mattress with a box spring. The hinge would have been right at the 8 inch mark without a box spring, but once box spring is added the folding hinge can sit well below the mattress edge which is what I was looking for. Many other on the market fold down, but would still be HIGHER than the mattress edge even when folded. It also works on a framed out bed, which other options on market would not have.

The installation was a little bit confusing and the strap that you’re supposed to attach to the end of the bed only goes a few inches so I'm not exactly sure if it’s sturdy enough. One thing I like about it is that I can fold it down and my foot is not hitting the guard rail. My grandchild moves all over and he’d be on all corners of the bed. I hope he doesn’t fall in between the cracks and most importantly, I hope the guard rail doesn’t move away since it’s not completely fastened at the bottom of the bed.

Product is just as you see it and it was easy to assemble. Simple to raise and put down. Love it.

Can't be used with a 10" mattress which wasn't stated online. Also states on insert that it shouldn't be used for toddlers which is confusing since it says baby bed guard?

How am I the first to review this product??? The U shape makes the guard rail more secure than other popular options out there. We don’t even use the strap. We have a wooden slatted frame (twin bed) and we just pushed the guard rail under the mattress. The metal edge of the bed frame keeps it in place. Highly highly recommend. I hope more people review. Also: easy to put together but we didn’t see a step to add the strap. Make sure you add it before it’s all assembled. Otherwise you’ll have to take it apart.

Avoid this product. They will send it with the wrong parts and it cannot be safely assembled. Strangely enough, the 59in size is rather good and comes with the correct parts. But the 39in size does not. I bought it twice and can confirm that both times the package came with the wrong parts.

It is a good quality product and works perfectly for my son’s bed.

It’s good compared to what is out there. The instructions miss one step where the harness has to be inserted in the bottom rod first when connecting them. The seller is great and provided great customer service.

I love the fact that it folds down and that i can see threw it. The length is perfect not to big not to small. I had a few questions and loved the fact that the customer service team helps out very nicely and that they get back you very fast.
