An affordable arcade controller with solid build quality
I always wondered why arcade controllers seemed so expensive when they seem very straightforward to make. Well, this thing blows every other leverless arcade controller out of the water in terms of bang for the buck. While the controller base was smaller than I had expected, the build quality is very solid, and it really has everything you need. SOCD control, customizable button lighting, LED screen that displays useful information (ex. SOCD mode, input mode, button presses), easy access to switch buttons / switches. It is lightweight and compact, can easily carry this around in a small bag if needed. I am going to stick with haute42 going forward for leverless arcade controllers, already tempted to buy the t16 which is the bigger version.

This thing is insanely underpriced
How on earth is this such high quality? This thing dwarfs 3d printed hitboxes going for 200 bucks on Etsy, it's got extremely smooth, thick and punchy gamerfinger switches and the heavy acrylic material combined with the greywood v3 switches give the inputs and incredibly satisfying thock. The weight and travel feels extremely quick while not being so light that resting your fingers will treat you to accidental inputs. RGB lighting has a fun ambience and arcade-y feel to the whole device. It's extremely ergonomic and comfortable to crank on for hours without any pain or discomfort in the wrists or fingers, especially compared to a controller or even an arcade stick. Input switching makes this thing near universal, while SOCD cleaning modes work to keep you from registering inputs otherwise impossible in fighting games or on joystick/DPAD in general (up + down or left + right simultaneously) so it's a tournament legal device. Size is extremely compact, especially in terms of height profile, but not so small that you can't get away with resting it on your lap. The OLED display is the icing on the cake, it displays your current settings so you don't have to scratch your head and lab in a practice mode to figure out whether you have SOCD cleaning on a certain mode, or turbo on a certain button -- or heck even what type of controller inputs you're sending. You can see all the settings and which inputs are registering right at your fingertips. Frickin sweet device, can't beat this price point!!!

Surprisingly Good
I was worried that this would be a cheap scam, but after it came and I felt the buttons, that worry went away. Theyโre legit premium buttons - only used Sanwa buttons before - but if these are gamer finger buttons, Iโll probably order them for my other stick. Not clicky, just a soft tapping sound and satisfying travel and feel. Cons: Stick is small. I have medium sized hands and itโs just a bit cramped, but nothing I canโt get used too. If you have larger hands, consider getting the bigger version of this if there is an option. The option buttons on the top right are quite small and donโt feel a little flimsy, but they get the job done. Pros: Plug and play on PC. No configuring required. Tested on Street fighter 6 and Tekken 8 demo. Premium buttons and build quality. Stick is small, but feels sturdy OLED screen on top left is a nice touch.

Keep it 300 (Cool, Calm, Collected)
WOW! I'm really happy with this hitbox (or whatever it's called). I have large hands and was worried about hand cramps, since its one of the smaller hitboxes out there but that's been no issue at all. The product itself looks clean and because it is so small its not an eyesore when its on my desk and can be easily stored. Beyond its appearance, it's helped me get more comfortable with fighting games. I've always struggled with the genre, only finding mild success in Tekken 8 where I reached Garyu with a controller. I've had trouble hitting the right inputs, and it only gets worse when opponents are pressuring me and I'm not executing the move I intended. This hitbox has helped me feel more in control of my character and helped me stay more calm when playing against people. It did take some time to adjust, but the more comfortable I get with it, the easier combos become. I don't own other hitboxes, but I highly recommend this one. It looks great, and for the price, it offers a lot.

Near flawless leverless style controller for the price
I personally have some experience with arcade stick style controllers and alot of experience with game controllers in general and keyboard switches. Playing SF6 and Brawlhalla with the controller, I only have praise. The switches are incredibly light and are practically silent compared to a lever arcade stick, I estimate maybe half of the volume of the average mechanical keyboard with red switches. They are being actively updated with custom firmware that is easily available online (in the Haute discord), switches are hotswap, and you can even put custom artwork on the front and back if you cut it out and place under the acrylic. The Only downsides is that you have to use the custom button caps because that what fits into the acrylic cutout when pressed, and the small size of the controller which can dig into palms. Aside from that I've had no major issues, I had one with double inputs (which are horrible for puzzle/grid based games) but that was quickly solved by downloading latest firmware which is really easy cause theres a webapp for it as well as customizing literally anything you could want about the controller including lighting.

Well worth the cost.
Exceeded my expectations, even after reading some glowing customer reviews. Pros +++++Leverless fight box that cost less than your standard first party Dual Sense, Switch Pro, or Xbox Series controller +Lovely acrylic shell +++Quality and quiet mechanical linear switches +++The RGB LEDs are bright, dimmable, with a couple animation options (or you can turn them off) ++There is an extra USB C and a USB A extension port +The tiny built-in config display is a discrete little luxury +++Weight is solid, feels good in the lap or on the desk +Quality Type A to C USB cable +Some extra key caps and a spare switch Cons -Key caps feel a little cheap and are pretty easy to pop off - No padding underneath with metal screws exposed (cold on bare thighs, could scratch desk) Neutral comments =Small footprint, about as big as a DVD movie box = Single page of useful info = Works on my PC and Switch =Significantly louder than gamepad but much quieter than my arcade stick =Not immediately intuitive... There's a learning curve ***I'll update if anything goes wrong... Otherwise, I highly recommend!

Only buy if you're REALLY SURE you want a hitbox
I had wanted a hitbox for a while and once these came out it was time to give them a shot. Haute 42 makes great devices, they're actually perfect if you don't care about PS5 connectivity. My only two complaints are that getting custom buttons for these is not necessarily easy as Haute 42 uses non-standard buttons sizes, and that the button keycaps fall loose if you toss the controller in a bag. Keep in mind you own ergonomics too. This is a small controller, if you have large hands or are going to play holding this on your lap it won't be to comfortable. I like the look of these taller buttons more than the other model, but the flatter buttons on the S model will probably be a better fit for most.

The Gold Standard of Affordable Leverless
I had basically given up on being able to make the switch to a leverless pad, due to the insane prices and lack of incentive (I'm not a competitor like I used to be). I'm only 30, but using a traditional fight stick has started to wear on my wrist after playing for about an hour, but this issue has been completely solved with this pad. I have used it for three days now heavily, and I've completed four character's Ultra Trials in USF4, played a good amount of SFxT and SF6, as well as completed a playthrough of Celeste with it. The only input I am struggling to rewire my brain for is left thumb being UP. Thankfully, there is an additional UP input placed in the WASD location, they really made it easy to adjust with that decision! Honestly, if you have any reason to be seeking a leverless pad, there is absolutely no reason not to order this thing unless the small size would be an issue for you! Absolutely incredible button quality, aesthetics, and build quality. 6/5 stars.

Outstanding Button-Only Arcade Controller โ A Must-Have for Fighting Game Fans
The Sehawei Haute42 Arcade Stick (All-Button Gamerfinger Edition) absolutely blew me away. This isnโt your typical arcade stick โ it's an all-button layout (no joystick), and it performs incredibly well, especially for fighting games. Whether you're playing on PC, PS3, PS4, Switch, or Steam, this controller works seamlessly across platforms with no lag or compatibility issues. Just plug and play. The size is perfect โ compact enough to fit on your lap comfortably, but large enough to feel solid and stable during intense matches. Iโve gamed on this for several hours at a time and it remains super comfortable, even during long sessions. The button-only layout is a game-changer. Inputs feel quicker, combos are more precise, and overall, it makes for a much more efficient and accurate fighting experience compared to traditional sticks. For games like Street Fighter or Guilty Gear, this controller is unbeatable. I wouldnโt recommend it for all types of games, but for fighting games and even side-scrollers, it excels with its precision. Visually, itโs a stunner. The RGB lighting on the buttons looks amazing โ vibrant, customizable colors that pop in any gaming setup. The acrylic top panel and slick design give it a high-end, futuristic look that fits perfectly in any gaming room. If you're serious about fighting games and want a high-performance, eye-catching controller, this is it. Highly recommended!

The BEST Travelsize Leverless
I've been debating on and off whether to purchase this leverless controller and I decided to bite the bullet and let me tell you this is by far the best money I've spent on any controller! The price to performance ratio is insane! It has the GP2040! So you can customize so much. The buttons just feel right, it has RGB which can be customized and changed per button. It has a turbo mode for multi-inputs, it has many SOD-C modes - remappable buttons and layouts - and with the GP2040 web configurator (which is super simple to set up) you can create custom profiles to swap to as well! Oh and did I mention it has a USB-C input you can plug into either by the top or the left side giving you options! I've tested this on: Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Dragon Ball FighterZ and it works flawlessly not to mention the size is so travel friendly I can use it on my steam deck on my laptop or on the go. For Tekken 8 I've remapped one of the buttons so it's easier for me to perform EWGF and it's a lifesaver! For SF6 the extra buttons help me hit drive inpact and drive rush so much easier and faster. Honestly this leverless is perfect for veterans AND if this is your first entry into leverless style controllers this is honestly one of the best to use to get your bearings with. You have pro features if you want it and if you don't it's literally plug and play into your PC. If I had to say a disadvantage it would probably be it has no OUT OF THE BOX PS5 compatibility - now it IS possible for this to work with a PS5 but it will take some tinkering in the GP2040 Web Configurator or an adapter which you can buy but honestly it's worth it.
