i bought it as a gift for my dad. he loves it. i bought him another one & it’s been 2 years. i was just tired of seeing cigarette butts everywhere.

Works great. If use the vent clips I recommend use super glue to keep the clips attached to the ashtray. The tends to pop out when removing the base to empty.

Product came with 1 wrong attachment for the AC vent. Thankfully just 1 does the trick. The light is totally intermittent. On off on off

This item is plastic. It WILL melt the spot where you put your cig out. Not too much but definitely shouldn't be melting at all. Which makes it a fire hazard. So if you need to put your smoke out somewhere else then this isn't a worthwhile purchase. Disappointed.**Update** So I've been using this ashtray until I can get a better one and the light already died on me and I got this thing on the 17th. It was flickering when I got it. And more disappointing, the lid has become difficult to close. Like you have to force it shut and it sounds like it is breaking every time you close it. Please don't bother buying this piece of junk to use as an ashtray. Also the vent clips do not work for my car. They only work for vents that go horizontally

I received two of this quickly so that's a plus. The light inside is an excellent addition! They go together easily and maybe that's part of the problem! The hooks are ok but the ashtray itself will not stay screwed to the lid. Every time we bump it or hit a big bump it falls off.. If I had wanted all the ashes and buts on my floor I would not have ordered ashtrays. What a mess my car is now after a 3 day trip. Thought about super glueing the ashtray to the lid.. But then you would have to take the whole thing off to empty and I do not believe the clips are sturdy enough to stand up to repeated on and off. This is a good idea, just need to make the tray attachment to the lid better, able to screw the tray further around or something!! These are inexpensive so buy if you must and better luck to you than I have had.

Writing this review after 2 and half years of owning this product. The small led still glows and the product is still in good shape.

Great product. Still using it and it's still in good condition after moving around in multiple vehicles.
