Rain Bird ET/1PK25S Drip Irrigation Emitter Installation and Removal Tool

Tool does exactly what its supposed to do...let you install drip line emitters into the main rubber line. Much easier than my old method of using pliers.

Easy to use! It clips and pokes holes well. I used this to replace some drip line and it made it extremely simple to do!

Cutting the hoses and tubes on the Rain Bird system can be a chore. If you use a knife or razor, there is a chance the tube might collapse while cutting and result in an irregular cut.This device makes the chore simple. It results in a perfect cut every time.I took away one star as the blades are not replaceable. This is a "use it till it's dull" then throw away device.Not ideal, but it does work.

I had been fighting with an issue in my yard and had been trying to use scissors to cut the black pipe. The scissors kind of squished the pipe causing it to split. I got this cutter and viola it worked in a few seconds, like a charm. I highly recommend this little pipe cutter.

This thing is a wonder tool. We recently had to have our main irrigation line replaced for about 25 feet in two sections after a fencing company broke it all to pieces and never told us. Once the new line was installed, we added a few more plants and used scissors to try to poke holes in the line for emitters. That… did not work out well. We ended up having to replace the line… again. Haha So when we replaced it again, we bought this handy tool to cut the line where it was punctured and punch holes for the new emitters. The amount of headache and time this little tool saved is beyond what I thought. Just buy it dummy :)

It’s working

We just used a pair of nippers to cut the tips off the emitters and cut the tubing with a knife. It was a useless waste of money.

This is a great little tool. It cuts the tubing cleanly and easily makes the hole for the barbed fittings

Works well for what it is. A bit small and hard to hold onto it while using it. If it was on a key ring with something else (keys) it would be easier to hold.
