AUBEY Damascus Pocket Knife Rosewood Handle with Clip Leather Sheath DMQEM

Good general purpose knife. It is sharp out of the box, the lock is simple and no-nonsense. The damascus pattern is a nice touch. At the price point, if I lose it, I am not out a lot of $$$ like I would be if I lost a Kershaw.

This knife is surprisingly awesome. I got it because i was curious about the "cleaver" style blade and figured a moderately priced knife would be a good way to learn about it. It is now one of my favorite EDC knives. Is it truly Damascus steel? I'm not an expert and i don't know, but i don't really care. It looks neat, comes quite sharp, and feels strong. The shape of the blade is what i really like about the knife. Other cleaver blades tend to feel clunky and unwieldy, but this flows out from your grip in an ergonomic fashion allowing you to use either tip or edge depending on the job. The blade comes back from the tip to have a point that is "pointy" enough to pierce packages and start cuts. Be aware the blade is thicker than most. The handle is thick enough and the right shape for a strong ergonomic grip. A little texture would have been nice, but it's hard to get texture right so I'm happy as it is. My only complaint about the knife would be that the wooden grips don't come flush with the metal frame, which does affect the comfort of your grip. It's a bit heavy, which i don't mind but some people might not like it. It's also a bit bulky, which you can feel in your pocket. Again, i don't mind it but some people might. The leather sheath is silly and immediately went in the trash. The knife has a good clip and sits in the pocket well, so the sheath is completely unnecessary.

I am actually seriously impressed with this knife. When I bought it I honestly didn't expect much. Upon arrival and opening, it's well made. It's got weight to it, the blade is really nice, beautifully done. My guy uses it all the time, it's been a couple months now and it still works as it should. Would definitely buy one of these again, probably for myself this time lol

Super sharp, opens smoothly and looks great!! Nice weight to it and yet it's not too big. You can definitely tell it's made to last. Excellent buy for the money !!

Beautiful blade and comes VERY SHARP and well oiled……poor construction though…..this thing is about to pop loose and I haven’t had it for a month. You will need to buy a cheap little set of tools to keep it tightened. I have to shelf mine until Wednesday when Amazon arrives. It literally feels like it is about to fall apart. Edit: Owner offered full replacement but after tightening I have had no issues.

Great gift for my Son-in-law who uses his new knife while working on the job. He said, that his team members have been jealous of his great look and practical use for backup protection.

Well it had a good appearance and feal but after less than a year of very light duty use and carrying it everyday it fell apart first the pocket clip broke off then the screw for the blade assembly came out and disappeared I wouldn't rely on this knife and definitely don't use it as a EDC it's cheaply made and overpriced with that being said I did like how easy it was to open and close but that was about it
