Like the feel and looks of the cover. I was able to install myself but it did take me a little bit to get it on because it is a very tight fit, but that is a good thing!! I will have to see this winter if I can still heat thru the cover when I use it for cold mornings…….but for now I am happy!!

Excellent solution for VW ID3 peeling steering wheel issue
I have a second generation 'facelift' VW ID.3 Pro S registered May 2024. Like many ID.3 owners it has a steering wheel with the outer 'leather' peeling off. As a result, the steering wheel is a sticky mess. Mons Motors, my local VW dealership, have refused to replace the steering wheel under warranty. Instead, they'll replace it if I pay £1,000. Hmm. Apparently the sticky peeling is "cosmetic wear and tear". i.e. my fault. Anyway, this steering wheel cover has proved an excellent solution. It took some patience to install because it is a really tight fit. I mean seriously tight fit. Worth the effort to install though, because it looks good in place and the smooth surface has made the steering wheel pleasant to use again. Minor issue is that the steering wheel now feels a bit thicker than previously, but doesn't really bother me. Note to vendor: Please supply the steering wheel cover flat instead of folded up in a narrow rectangular box. This entailed quite a bit of time with a hairdryer to remove 'kinks' caused by the folding.
