I bought this item for my sister. She’s is very happy with this item. I can tell that she feels a lot more safe and confident now that help is just a push of a button away!!

This absolutely is NOT a GPS tracker! It uses Wifi/Bluetooth technologies to try and locate itself. GPS tracking can be initiated by calling Customer Service and requesting them to provide a GPS location. So I do not have access to the true location nor do I have a map showing where it is. I live in a remote location, there are no tracking Wifi/Bluetooth signals to try and locate it and GPS is not available to me. This means the user could be anywhere out in the fields or woods surrounding the house and all I would see was the last location obtained which would be the house WiFi. Totally useless for keeping track of a wayward individual who wondered off and accurate location is needed immediately. Another failure point is getting service disconnected as they bill you $40 monthly till terminated. But termination requires you to talk to a Customer Serice agent during their regular business hours. Thus failure on Call #1. Second call was made during business hours, finally got an agent on the line and was told that systems were down and they were unable to cancel my subscription that day. No we will take your info and process it tomorrow or anything, just Nope, cant do it, you need to call back another day. Starting to feel a bit scammy. Third call was made today and required a good bit of back and forth with the "Cancelation Specialist" who wanted a reason for cancelation and kept giving rebuttal for my reasons as to how that was not a problem. Sounds more like "Retention Specialist" to me. In any case finally had to put on my "Enough, we are done here now" voice to convince him that I needed to be canceled. His final response, "OK, I will be sending a cease and desist to your email that you need to sign and return." And the terms of the cancelation with the cease and desist is that they will cancel sometime in the next 30 days. So pretty good odds I will get hit with yet another $40 payment while they take their good old time canceling the service. Provided they actually do and not end up with another follow up call from me a month from now asking why it is still active and them saying "Oh, we never received your email" or some such garbage. Bottom line, I do not recommend them at all for tracking of an individual and their whole cancelation process just feels sleazy and slimy. I regret having ever done business with them at all! My advice, as an owner and user of their device is, JUST STAY AWAY!

The Medical Guardian MGMini medical alert Device is absolutely wonderful. I wear mine as a necklace and it also comes with a clip on attachment for belt or pu rse. I feel that all Seniors or those with fall issues or medical issues need the ability to contact EMT's or caregivers wherever they are and the GPS in the device directs help directly. Do not hesitate to select this Medical Alert for yourself or loved ones.

Love that my Mom has this now. She wears it everywhere and can use anywhere. Safety was a concern but not anymore. It has built in GPS. Easy to set up. Just call Medical Guardian to set up an account and activate the device. We got our first month free. They have an app you can download to check battery life and location Great value for the price. Quick response time when you hit the button for assistance. One key feature is that the device can detect when you have a fall and will contact assistance for you automatically. It has hands-free operation so you can speak to someone. You can wear it as a pendant around your neck or like a watch and only needs a few hours to charge. I did my research and I highly recommend this device.

Small and good battery life. Works well but the cellular service is $40 a month and the fall protection is another $10 a month.

Falsely advertised as the best GPS coverage, however it always says I am home when I'm out and about. Sat at doctor's office for 1/2 hr. and it gave wrong address. sat at another office having test for 3 hrs. and gave completely different address. Sometimes when I am home it says I'm at 2 of my neighbor's addresses. Also had issues where my family couldn't get into APP to watch where I was and could access the APP at all. Medical Guardian never sent them any emails so they could sign on. I called medical Guardian and got a foreign female that I could not understand anything she said. Had fall detection on it not sure if that even works and cost an addition $10.00, I advise trying another brand too many issues with this one.

I contacted Amazon and the Medical Guardian Company to setup an account. Amazon was no help in setting up an account through Medical Guardian. The agent at Medical Guardian said I had to return the device and get one from MG and it is the same device. This device I was wanted for my medical needs. All this information on the box, I couldn't set up the account from either one. I don't understand. How can I use the device if I can't set up the device. I am very disappointed. :( I have to edit my review because I called Amazon one more and spoke to someone at Amazon. He spoke directly to Medical Guardian, and we were able to setup my account. It is on and working ever since! Thank you, Amazon and Medical Guardian for your kindness!
