Worked like a charm
Standard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I always remain objective and honest about the product or service. I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I'm writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know! I was getting a couple of old home arcade games (Atari & Intellivision) up and running and needed one of these converters. The old connection wasn't good and had a lot of static but these new ones worked like a charm. Pretty limited use and you don't need these much anymore but I'm glad I was able to get it.

Works as advertised
I bought these specifically for my father’s Atari 2600 that I inherited from him, he didn’t have the box that helps it hook up to televisions and I found these, the image isn’t messed up at all and cuts out the middleman with the box, no more having to screw in the UHF screws into prongs and having that bulky box around, simple basic Installation.

Atari 2600
Found an original Atari 2600 (to my surprise) and couldn’t wait to turn it on. Much to my dismay, TVs of today are much more advanced than yester year. Fortunately I read some reviews and they stated this Gizmo thingamajig would work instead of wiring it to the antenna prongs that no longer exist and it did perfectly with no problems. Great lil device!

For atarii 2600 and c64. Much easier than I thought!
I have an original Atari 2600 and a modern 2017 tv. I plugged this into the atarii video cable, then screwed other end into the modern 2017 tv antenna/cable tv plug. With the atarii on, I rescanned “analog” channels my tv’s tuner. I went to channel 3 and could see the atarii signal. I thought this was going to be much harder. From my childhood, I remember the boxy crt tv sets had two antenna screws for rabbit ears. We would screw in either an rg3 antenna cable adapter or some channel modulator box with a channel 3-4 switch. I was wondering what it would take in 2022 to get this working, but then I saw in a post that the old switched modulator box was just a pass through for channel 3 signals and shifted signal for ch4 as a convenience. Basically, you get a direct ch3 signal straight out of the atarii, c64, Nintendo, sets, whatever.

Simple, perfect solution.
The image is of the Atari 2600 game Dragster displayed on my 50" TV. It couldn't be simpler. Screw this onto the cable connector on your TV. Plug the RCA cable from your vintage gaming system into it. Done. Please note: I don't have cable, I stream everything I watch that's not on DVD or Blu-Ray. If you have cable, or some other service that requires a connection to the cable connector, you'll need a splitter. I highly recommend this item for retro gamers like me who want to display 30+ year old games on a modern TV.

Passt NICHT mit einem Atari 2600 !! die Seite für den Fernseher passt. Nur das Kabel für den Atari 2600 passt nicht. Muss daher zurück geschickt werden!
