Work well they are softer than the pencil leads so care when inserting.Using the red on concrete and the white on mild steel

Working with many different coloured materials including lots of greys I'm really enjoying the red and white leads, still easy to remove like most pencil but mark easily on many surfaces and speed to identify marks is massively increased due to the coloured marks

A bit soft but they work well on marking materials that the normal lead doesn't

I had high hopes for the Tracer deep hole pencil refills, but unfortunately, they didn’t deliver. While the design is clever and they fit the pencil as expected, the functionality falls short.The red and white leads don’t show up well on many common surfaces especially dusty or rough ones which makes them pretty unreliable for marking jobs where visibility matters. They also don’t glide like normal pencil lead, feeling more like wax than graphite, which affects pen quality and precision.In terms of quality, they seem well-packaged and durable, but the actual performance just doesn’t match the price. The longevity might be decent if you’re only occasionally using them, but if you’re marking regularly, you’ll likely find them frustrating.For me, these refills don’t represent good value for money. I’d recommend sticking to the standard graphite refills unless you specifically need colour and even then, there are better options.

Not pleased with them, after using the original leads i thought these would be a handy addition but they barely work on any metal surface, they break easily and are hard to sharpen as they are similar to a crayon material wise but tend to crumble in the sharpener.

Use these all the time the colours are good for marking tiles easy to use and no breaking penceild
