Futhark Area of Effect Spell Templates, Set of 16 - Acrylic DND AOE Markers

I have newer version in a storage box, and I'm very impressed with the entire package. The box art is attractive, and the insert letter is a fun touch. As for the templates, themselves: they are well made and clearly marked to be read from both up and down orientation (in other words, both the DM and the players can read them). The plastic is durable, no hard edges, and the colors are just the right level of brightness and opacity. These are obviously designed for a flat battle mat (if you're using terrain pieces or Dungeon Stone sets, I don't think these will be super useful) and they excel at making these super useful and fast. As noted in the description, these are scaled for 1' = 5=ft. Of course, they also work with 1' = 10-ft but you just need to do the math to divide by half (with that scale you would use the 1-ft ring for a fireball, as it would give you a radius of 2-inches). HIGHLY recommended for your game table.

These are great - they look exactly like the product description photos. The quality is excellent; they are sturdy but lightweight and have clean edges that are not sharp. The box that they come in is very well designed, informative (the inner lid describes how to repack the templates so that they all fit), and is quite attractive and mildly amusing (Artifacts of Arcane Arbitration is a very clever name). These were clearly created by people who care and go the extra mile to make the product much more than just some templates in a plastic baggie. Oh, and be sure to read the enclosed letter, it's worth it. :) Highly recommended for Jake Miller or anyone else who wants an easy way to discern spell affect areas in their TTRPG. These are worth every penny and I'm very happy with my purchase. If you're a DM/GM, get them. If you're a generous player - get them for you DM/GM. I'm quite certain that you'll be glad that you did.

I hate to spoil the surprise for others but I think people ought to know the level of detail that comes with the case for these. This passage they lovingly wrote for their customers details everything you could possibly need to know about these outlines. It shows that this company KNOWS what they’re selling. Questions are answered, questions that I knew I had about the product but was so certain I wouldn’t know until I used them first. It also lays out good dnd etiquette for newcomers, setting a good example. My favorite part are the instructions for placing them back in the box. Any other business on here in this growing world of over-saturation and drop-shipping would be fine with selling you something they know nothing about in a effort-free blank box and leave everything to you. Maybe we should start prioritizing those that take a step above the rest.

Absolutely a must have for new DM's.

TLDR: if you want AOE templates for your table, get these. There are cheaper out there, and they are probably all cut in the same factory, but the service level from Futhark Games is top notch. Well worth the extra dollar or two vs the random named competitors. Received the templates quickly. Two items missing from box. Took a minute to figure out how to contact seller, but within 24 hours they responded and have a replacement on the way. Can't ask for better service than that As for the product itself, very nice, compact storage box. The templates are colored acrylic, clean lines, no flashing or rough edges. The markings are solid white lettering and easy to read. Even though the plastic is thin, they feel sturdy, not like they will break under their own weight if you lift by just one corner. Can't wait to use them in a session.

These fantastic shapes make me want to cast FIREBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Utterly awesome for wizards and spell casters alike.

These spell templates are very sturdy. They drop over the miniatures on the battlefield without disturbing placement (except the line ones) I love the padded case. The note to leave a review was even pretty good. I don't normally leave many reviews but I appreciate the extra level of detail. Good job!

I like these! Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. The frames are clearly marked and it’s easy enough to use the 30ft cone to extrapolate the size of a 60-footer. I was especially impressed with the slick, magnet-sealed case they come with. The price is nice compared to similar products. Bonus shade: Whoever packed this at the warehouse was clearly eating a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich and flipping it over in their greasy fingers a few times. Easy enough to wipe off but jeez, guys. Jeeeeeeez.

Excellent spell templates. These are a big help for working out area of effect spells and lingering spell effects in my D&D games. They're nicely made, easy to read and find the right shape and size I'm looking for. I previously had an all in one template which I found difficult to read at times, and having them separate, with bold colours make this much more usable. Bonus points for coming in nice packaging that works as storage with a small magnet case, and with a clever name and an included, fantasy styled letter of 'instructions' which made me chuckle. Would definitely recommend to DMs looking to make their games run smoother, these are a very practical tool at a good value for money.

Excellent buy! Bought it for my DM and he loved it. The templates are accurate based on the standard battle maps as I tested every single one of them though the cones might be a little bit smaller but still relatively accurate enough for use!
