A little challenging but it works! Great model worth the effort of building it. Good satisfaction

These ROKR models are fantastic! I give my husband one every Christmas (there was huge disappointment the year I didn't!). This year it was the printing press. It's important to say that there is nothing easy about these models - they require patience, perseverance and very precise attention to the instructions but they are beautifully designed, work just as claimed and are hugely rewarding to make. A great way of keeping your other half out of mischief!!

I loved and enjoyed building this model, but it is not for the beginner, you do need some skill but it is worth every penny.

I have built a lot of the wooden model sets including 5 clocks, 4 of the guns plus numerous other small ones so decided to look for something a bit more intricate and challenging. Overall the kit is definitely worth the price paid and the parts were good quality. I have decided to give it four stars and not five for two reasons. Firstly the finished model itself was smaller than expected and secondly the wire for the second LED light was not long enough so it didn't quite reach the piece that it was supposed to sit in so i had to make some adjustments to the wood to make it fit just below where it was supposed to go. In all it took me around 6hrs to complete the model but that includes the time spent dismantling and reassembling to get the light to fit. The finished model works well and prints onto the cards supplied. This would make a lovely gift for someone who enjoys building models but despite the instructions being relatively easy to follow i would say that it's not suitable for a beginner or someone who has not assembled something similar in the past.

I really enjoyed this project it was very challenging some parts I got stuck and wished there were more how too guides online as the instructions can be vague and I almost didn't complete it at one point ! I'd have given 5 star if it wasn't for that and that it does not print well. I also somehow missed out where to install the light switch so that doesn't work either. Id recommend buying this if you like puzzles, are patient and maybe have another model enthusiast to help!

ROKR kits are perfect ways to while away rai y weekends with a truly amazing model to show for your efforts at the end. A really lovely kit with incredible detail from the little bears and bees to the illuminated honey pot. I use mine to print ornate labels for my homebrew wines and spirits.

Es ist faszinierend, die Druckmaschine in Aktion zu sehen, nachdem man sie selbst aufgebaut hat.
