This product smelled delightful and was easy-peasy to heat; however, the taste was laden with heavily metallic notes, even though I did not heat it up in the foil pouch. I'll be looking elsewhere for a better-tasting product with less sodium.

Good.
It's not homemade but it's not the worst packaged food either. I can't get it locally and i's been a nice addition to my lunch repertoire for working days.

After reading good reviews of this product, I decided to try it for meals when I wanted something quick but hot & satisfying. I love dal as well as other Indian foods, but I was able to choke down only a couple of bites of this product. So glad I only ordered one package!

Yummy eats
I liked this dish, and served it along with the Paneer Butter Masala and two other dishes that I wouldn't recommend. It says it's a 1 pepper spicy, meaning mild, but I would call it a 1.5 pepper spicy, or mild plus.

This is surprisingly good. I bought it for the convenience, thinking I would have to sacrifice quality. Not at all. One minute in the microwave, serve over rice, and I have an excellent, tasty meal.
