As promised.
The book is great! Good pictures, directions with the pictures to minimize page flipping. Truly 50 different dolls. Took off a star because book was not in good condition. Looked to be either used or had sat on a shelf edge of pages were yellowed, wrinkles and stains from moisture.

Very Good Book!
Wonderful book. Beautifully written! I loved all the little dolls and how there are so many different dollies. The book is from the UK so there are some things in it that are very English such as a chimney sweep doll, a union jack doll, and a football player which turns out to be what an american would call a soccer player!😉 However I thought it added to the charm of the book. Would definitely recommend it to any knitter and/or crocheter.

Fun patterns
This book of patterns is very good and not so good. I have knit the nurse and the Pilgrim boy so far. There are mistakes in the pattern. If followed exactly the stitch counts don't work. I have enough experience to correct as I go but others may not. Now, the good part. The book has beautiful photographs of the figures, front and back. I am knitting these for my granddaughter and she will love to play story time with them. A friend is knitting several figures as particular Christmas gifts for her children. Even though these were not well tested, I would buy the book again because it is good to have all these little knitted dolls in one book of patterns. I am knitting these using sport weight cotton, and cotton/acrylic yarn.

Nice dolls, badly needed step by step pictures.
Darling patterns, but more pictures of the making up process are sorely needed. The instructions are not at all clear at some portions and literally the only pictures are pictures of the finished product.
