DRMTLGY Universal Tinted Moisturizer SPF 46 2-Pack, Dewy Tinted Sunscreen

Let me preface all of this by saying, that I have had just a horrible time with sunscreen due to my allergies, my thyroid and a bunch of things just being sensitive then, if it doesn’t do any of the above, it’s too greasy or two dry it makes me look wrinkly, but really the ladder is the one that gets me the most I will let it dry down and it never really does. It just makes my makeup slide everywhere so just saying that I’ve been on a hunt for something pretty perfect, not only in the way of a foundation, but also in the way of a sunscreen is probably an understatement because I would further press on this issue by saying that I just entered my 40s and everything has pretty well. Been downhill from there. I tell you every single thing I used to wear on my face looks thick or if I powder it it looks dry. It looks wrinkly all of a sudden there’s these lines in certain places and if I deal deeper into those lines like get up in the mirror and I check them out harder all of a sudden it’s like man you shouldn’t have done that because now you’re seeing sagging that you didn’t know you had, etc. so this is really been a journey for me and that is why I wanted to go out of my way and leave this particular review and I will also leave one on the concealer or whatever the eye treatment is. That’s also a sunscreen from this brand because it’s important that when I do find a product that blows everything else I’ve ever tried and 44 years of life out of the water that I tell other ladies in my age group, because I know that other people are struggling to if someone like me with years and years and years of makeup experience is really having and have had the hardest time ever with this kind of stuff. I know other ladies are experiencing it too and men sorry don’t wanna leave them out. When I first received this stuff and I was sitting at my table, pondering it because it is not cheap and because what if it didn’t work out being it was not cheap. Why did I go and pick the Dewey one? Oh my goodness is this gonna be another grease ball mess… That was the idea of going through my head a hint in fact, I almost picked up my phone and called Amazon to get the other version but then wait a second… But then I said no let me try it first and let me tell you… THISSTUFF is magical like a unicorn among rhinoceros pretending to be unicorns!!! If you apply this stuff right and I mean actually take and put in the effort to apply it right in my suggestion for the best application method is as follows: firstly put out on your hand the 1/4 teaspoon you need it. It’s OK. It won’t be too much. the stuff is amazing on your hand for just your face. You’re gonna diet it all over your face and gently rub it in and Pat to make sure you’ve covered every area and once you see, there’s no streaks left you need to let it settle for a second. I usually give it 3 to 4 minutes. I’ll walk around the kitchen or get dressed or do something else but then after that happens, go back to the mirror and you can take your beauty blender and dab on there and touch up anything and it’ll press right down. It looks just like your skin but way better and I’ve got a huge age spot on my face and I was so afraid of it being this sheer, but you know what it kind of doesn’t matter if it shows because my skin looks so amazing with it on that I have been known to bypass foundation or choose this as a primer over every other primer I own because of the way it makes my skin look. Because if you truly apply it right with no brush with your hands and then you let it settle in every skin type is different so if you’re oily, you may require another two minutes then come back. You’re gonna have something that went ahead and all of the little ingredients in it that are made to form a seal in a barrier will have done their job and you can move on having the most beautiful luxurious skin experience of your life. This is completely changed my makeup routine for me because I always thought I had dry skin however I keep looking at all this YouTube videos with they’re saying oh no once you’re past 35 don’t wear powder but I’m thinking if I don’t wear powder, everything‘s gonna move everywhere so why would I not do that? I must be oily skinned no that is not the Case in my experience. I’ve never had anything worked like this product. I don’t wanna go back to foundation and I am obsessed with foundation and I certainly don’t wanna go back to powder so if you are in the state that I was in when I found this stuff, don’t be like me and hang around on the fence pulling it in and out of your court for a few months, etc. etc. if you’ve had bad experiences with foundations powders SPS all the above number one you don’t need full coverage. Learn to love your skin. That was the first thing I learned because once this stuff did its magic a so beautiful my skin really was for my age and it’s protecting it and keeping it that way, but number two you’re gonna drop every other make up product that you’ve been testing and all the hundreds of dollars that you’ve been having to spin to try to keep the appearance of any sort of usefulness and you’re just gonna grab this stuff. Everything else will not make sense anymore. Now I will tell you a couple of recommendations here I do like to put a primer underneath it but I’m a double sunscreen on those days so on those days I use the Japanese brand aqua serum sunscreen that contains new age filters that don’t hurt me and it’s very serious then I’ll let that sit down for 20 minutes and then I will put either the YUNJAC new luminous primer that they’ve come out with which is gorgeous and I mean stunning down and let it set and then go with the stuff as if it wore my foundation or the vanilla Co. matching primer that’s almost identical. Either one of these is magical paired with this and and let me just put this in there if you’ve had a problem with not wanting to wear highlights and stuff like that like highlighters and highlighting primers because they emphasize your pores and wrinkles like I was doing the YUNJAC primer with this one gives you all the highlight you need because this formula is just enough to let it do its magic underneath. I cannot wait to try so many other of their products because now I’ve got to try them all because they’re amazing and whereas a month ago, I didn’t even look in this brand direction once trying this product. My mind is blown. I’ve already ordered my second and third bottle as a duo because I cannot possibly run out of this at any point I will die literally lol and I never do that because I’m not a rich woman. In fact, I’m quite the opposite however because of the great experience I’ve had with this and their color corrector/concealer/SPF that they offer which I’m about to review next I feel like I wanna try everything else that they offer. It just cannot see that they could possibly offer anything that would be a mistake to try because they have concocted two of the most beautiful formulations that I have ever experienced in my entire life and I’ve tried because I’m addicted to makeup skincare, etc., and I love to do professional makeup so not to be a long winded I just wanted to turn all of my fellow beauty junkies onto this product and I’m sure I don’t have to because with the way it worked on me. I’m sure there’s probably been 1 million videos saying just the same thing, however I had to out of a need of just sending the record straight in case someone who put a bad review because this stuff is nowhere near bad this stuff deserves 200 stars and don’t be scared to get the Dewey one. It is phenomenal on 40+ skin. You’re gonna have people stopping you and saying what makeup do you use? Your skin is amazing and let me tell you… That has never happened for me.

I have repurchased this product over and over again. It leaves a dewy, non-greasy finish, has great long lasting sun protection, and beautifully evens my skin tone. Coverage: this product is a true skin TINT, meaning that it offers minimal coverage for blemishes or dark spots. However, I actually really like that it doesn't obscure my freckles and looks like my natural skin but better. That being said, on days I have problem areas or acne, I just used a concealer that matches my skin tone well on top of this product, and that works really well (just make sure the Drmtlgy product has dried down first though!). I have very fair skin with neutral undertones and find that the product matches my skin quite well (goes on very sheer and coverage increases as it dries down). However, if you have very fair skin with very cool, pinky undertones, this product might veer a little too warm for you. Scent: The scent is pretty neutral/mild to me and once it dries down is totally imperceptible to me. That being said, I'm not someone who is particularly sensitive to smells. Skincare: I have combo/oily skin and prone to occasional breakouts, especially if I get lazy about washing my face or cleaning my makeup tools. The beauty of this product is that I can literally spread it on my face with my fingers like a typical sunscreen and it looks great. Takes me less than 30 seconds to apply and I'm good to go. It doesn't break me out at all, and my skin quality has actually massively improved because I'm consistently wearing high SPF and don't need to use any brushes/sponges that quickly get dirty and carry bacteria. Matte vs Regular: I've tried both versions of this product and honestly don't find that "matte" version to be all that much more mattifying. It kind of just has a grainier texture. That being said, I don't find the regular version to make my skin overly dewy or greasy, especially if I just apply a bit of powder over the top in my T zone. As a result, I usually just buy the regular version. Overall, if you're someone looking for a product that that makes leaves your skin looking like your skin but better + protected from the sun and you don't like spending tons of time doing your makeup every morning, this is the product you're looking for!

This tinted moisturizer is part of my daily skincare routine. I’m on my third bottle and it’s a product I will continue to buy. I first decided to try this because I was looking for a daytime moisturizer that would even my skin tone and block sun exposure. This product checks the boxes but the quality of the ingredients is biggest reason I will keep buying it. The moisturizer has a universal tint that should blend into most skin shades. The formula is light and non-greasy but leaves my face feeling hydrated. My only complaint is that it has an ever so slight gritty texture… not a deal breaker but it isn’t as smooth as I would like. The tint is subtle so it can’t be compared to foundation. If you’re looking for something with a lot of coverage, this isn’t for you. I would recommend using it as a base and then adding concealer in places where needed.

I’ve been buying this for several months now and absolutely love it. I’m almost 50, so I’m pretty particular about products that sit well on aging skin and don’t emphasize imperfections. This is incredibly lightweight, goes on smoothly, and the tint blends beautifully with my skin. It gives me just enough coverage that it has actually replaced my regular foundation. I also love that I’m getting a moisturizer and SPF 46 all in one. My skin looks natural and even without feeling like I’m wearing heavy makeup. Definitely a repeat purchase for me!

I don't think this product is bad, but I don't think it's worth the price for me. The scent isn't my favorite when I first apply it, although it fades pretty quickly. It feels lightweight, goes on smoothly, and leaves my skin feeling soft, which I do like. That said, I was hoping for a little more coverage. The tint is so sheer that it doesn't really even out my skin tone or hide any redness—it mostly just looks like I'm wearing moisturizer. If you're looking for a true tinted moisturizer, this may be too subtle. I can see myself using the rest of the bottle I bought because it feels comfortable and has SPF, but since I can buy a different spf moisturizer, I don't feel like this product offers enough extra value to justify the cost. I'm glad I gave it a try, but I don't plan on repurchasing it. Still searching for a good skin tint with actually coverage. 😕

So many reasons I will keep using this product. First of all I cannot do regular foundation anymore it just doesn't work for me. This gives my face just enough color while evening out my skin tone and it makes the pores on my nose look so much better. It's a great moisturizer and I wish I would've tried it sooner. I am on my second bottle and I will use it year-round. Believe it or not I have gotten to like the smell of it but it does dissipate once it's on your face. It takes about 10 minutes to dry down enough to start putting on the rest of your stuff... blush concealer etc. All this talk about the smell shouldn't be a game changer since it doest stick around. I've been out with it in direct sun for hours and didn't even begin to burn.

On my 4th or 5th bottle now. It’s one I keep coming back to even after trying others. I love that it’s a mix of both physical and chemical sunscreen, to help prevent more pigmentation. The only thing I don’t like is how it’s marketed as a replacement for make up. It is definitely not that kind of coverage. It’s Dewy and has no white cast. Just keep in mind that if you normally wear make up, you will also need to do that over this sunscreen because it doesn’t replace it at all like some suggest. The tint is not super tinted like that of a BB cream etc

My best friend raved about this product so I decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed was the smell-it smells “fishy” like vitamin E or castor oil. The smell does go away after a few seconds but I do smell it every time. I wasn’t sure it provided much coverage but as the day went on I checked the mirror I saw that it had adjusted to my (very fair mid 50s) skin tone. I chose “Dewey” and my skin had a very pretty glow. I am very happy with the result as my typical foundation can crease in fine lines. I will overlook the smell and will continue to use. NOTE: my best friend does not notice a bad smell. Either the matte finish does not smell, or it is one of those odd effects where some people love cilantro and some think it tastes like soap. I considered exchanging it, but other reviewers mentioned the smell so I realized there’s no point bc likely it’s the Dewey version, or my olfactory system!

OMy! This must be the best SPF I have ever used ..and I am not easy to compliments. It is glowy but not overly shiny, it sinks into my 38 y.o. skin without going into the lines or accentuating my pores. It does not move, even with a rich moisturiser underneath. I have a light to medium very olivy skin and when I saw how pink it is I panicked, but somehow the colour blends well with my skin and my natural complexion still comes through nicely. It is not a foundation and it won't cover all imperfections, but it's enough for me as I prefer a natural look .. and can't really fake a perfect skin at this age ;) It protects me for the sun, but I don't burn easily and I live in England ☁️... so you might benefit from someone's else opinion on this. It's ridiculously pricey - let's be honest. But if you can afford it, I do recommend it. If you don't want to stretch to the price tag, look for a dupe, as it is really good.

The sunscreen is like a liquid foundation texture, not greasy. It’s easy to apply, and dry quickly. So you can apply whatever the next product you need to. I’m a yellow skin tone, the color works for me. I don’t think it has any coverage for me, which is fine. Btw, it doesn’t smell good when you apply it, but after it dries on the face, I won’t smell it. Overall, I like this product.

This has replaced every foundation I have ever had. I can’t be without this one. It makes my skin look so nice. Like make up but no make up. It’s perfect, I love it!! On the days I want more coverage I mix it with a tiny bit of a bb cream and it’s so lovely!!

Este producto es excelente pero lo he pedido en dos ocasiones del mismo vendedor y llega roto, con la crema fuera del envase o sin funcionar. Lo he tenido que regresar.

This is a nice lightweight cream which leaves a lovely sheen and doesn’t pill under makeup. The tint isn’t really visible on your face. I’m deducting stars because of the horrible musty scent, as if it has gone off. Such a pity. I wonder whether I have a bad product or whether this cream always smells this way.
