Rough Country Winch Mounting Plate for 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL - 10652

Installed on a 2018 jeep wrangler Rubicon jlu with the factory bumper. Fit and finish were excellent. Badlands 12000 lb winch fit perfectly.

So happy with this winch! The install was easy and it works great! Haven’t been able to use it for a recovery yet but just testing it out everything is good to go!

install without any issues on my 25 gladiator.

Bought this to install in my 2021 Rubicon with factory steel bumper! Fit perfectly and seem plenty strong! Much cheaper than factory Mopar piece! I would buy again!

Happy with this overall, especially since this comes with the steel fairlead mount. The design or quality control needs improvement. There was a missed weld, that would critically weaken the design. There is no way this was intentional. I had to fix it before installing it. I like this design better than other option out there, but they need to make sure that it is welded correctly.

Rough country seems to get a bad name by most people because of their inexpensive price point, I've upgraded many of my jeeps with various Rough Country products and I have yet to find one that has let me down. Sure there are more expensive options and maybe those options are for the Hard-core offroader but thats not what I use my jeeps for. I fully recommend this winch mount plate for the OEM steel bumper.

Well would have given 5 stars but no hardware was included. Contacted Rough Country about the missing hardware. They got my info and everything they needed and asked me if the address I gave them was correct. I was thinking they was going to ship the hardware but I've yet to see anything from them. Had to source my own hardware. Other than that the winch plate fits perfectly on my Rubicon Gladiator with a CP Concepts bumper and the Badlands Apex 12k winch fit great as well. Just someone at Rough Country needs to make sure everything is in the box before they ship it out.

Seems very strong and well made. The mount thickness is about 5 mm. License plate cover is about 3.5 mm.

Install went very well. The included instructions were very handy! Had all the steps needed start to finish. (Some socket sizes were stated wrong but that's ok) The plate actually came with a reinforced piece under the main plate to strengthen it, this is not shown in the product pics but is a very welcome addition. My only real complaint is that the hole in the front plate for the fairlead is slightly too narrow for the one I have (not sure of standard size opening or what) so I feel like the steel edge is going to rub the winch rope if there is any side pull. Might end up looking for another fairlead piece vs the one that came with my winch. Lots of space to to reach in there and swap that without removing anything
