Great value
There are a lot of vine charcoal pieces in the box and it’s wonderful. They’re great for sketching out a painting before I paint it.

Willow Charcoal Sticks are great in quality, easy to use, Works good with combination of other type of the charcoal, which allow to get correct value for portraits drawing. I am about to reoder as I am almost out of sticks.

Good stuff
I used to do traditional art back in University, but stopped for a while since I'm a character designer and a lot of my work is digital now. Well I wanted to get back into traditional work, and remembering using charcoal brought me such joy and I had to try it out again. I wish I had gone with the thinner one, but this one is really great. It comes in a nice sized box so its easy to port around with you, and the quality is amazing. It blends well, and you can get some nice bold lines. Great charcoal for any level.
