Countertop Microwave Oven with Removable 16.5" Carousel Turntable, 1200 Watt, 2.2 Cubic Feet, Stainless Steel

When the Panasonic microwave we had since 2019 decided to stop working, I started reading reviews to find a replacement. I quickly learned that since that last purchase, laws were passed requiring child proof locks on countertop microwaves and that some models allowed you to disable that feature and others didn't. One of the top criteria was the ability to disable it - it's just my husband and myself, kids and grown and we have no grandchildren nor friends who visit with little ones, and my dog is too short to reach the appliances. Another "must" was quick-cook buttons for 1-6 minutes (some only had 1-3) and we wanted at least 1100 watts, preferably 1200. What we didn't need were the combo features such as air fryer or broiler capability. We did want inverter technology. We had good luck with Sharp products in the past, so this one ended up on the short list since it checked all those boxes. When it arrived, it was a little bit of a surprise. It was big - much larger than the one we were replacing, and that one wasn't tiny. But it just fit in the space, and I was immediately impressed with the ability to heat two frozen dinners at the same time. I was also impressed with how quiet it is. Oh, and the child-proof lock was super easy to disable. We've been using it every day and it does the job and was a good value for the price.

The Michael Ray with the inverter is very quiet and does a very good job so far I am satisfied

This is an absolutely fantastic microwave, exactly what I was looking for to replace my previous 2.2 cubic foot microwave. Obviously it has plenty of space. It heats evenly and effortlessly. It looks clean and tidy, the stainless and black finish matches all of the other appliances. It has tons of features, that I probably won't use lol. And it is so silent that it's amazing. I routinely have to check and make sure that it's actually running because you legitimately cannot hear the thing from 5 ft away

Product is quieter than previous microwave. Controls are easy and microwave has lots of functions. Heats well. 4 of 5 stars as the legs aren’t adjustable to leave microwave.

Great size-very large! Fit perfectly and looks great too! Used to to reheat and it works great!

This microwave is a described. It was a little larger than expected but that isn't a problem. It is a dark charcoal color inside. When it is in operation, I can't see anything inside. I wish it was white instead. It is very quiet. I can't hear it if I'm in another room. All in all this is a very nice microwave.

We have used it for about two weeks now. It’s quiet and works well. The one touch start is a good feature as is add 30 seconds feature. With one touch you can start the oven with 30 seconds to 6 minutes. We has Panasonic Inverter ovens before, Sharp seems to have done a much better job than Panasonic.

Works well. Good quality. Love all the options for cooking.
