A bit pricey, & can't appreciate much the aroma of jasmine.

Excellent aroma, flavor and strength. You can of course adjust the strength of the tea by how many of the jasmine pearls you put into steep. I've had a previous brand...but unfortunately they stopped production during covid and did not bring back my favorite tea... So I've been looking and looking, and tried other brands until I found this one....Golden Moon Organic Jasmine Pearls definitely has the quality abd taste I've been looking for finally! Well packaged, and plenty of tea pearls!

I had a bad experience with another brand called Fullchea. I thought I was doing good buying from a smaller company. I bought 8 oz for over 30$ and when I got it and brewed the tea, the leaves unfurled to have mold in it due to not drying properly and rummaging through the package there was hair in the pearls! it was so gross. That company never replied to my experience. I had to compost that and spend another chunk of money for good quality tea. The risk for this brand was a good one. No mold or hair so I am happy with the sanitation of this company- the tea is fragrant with a strong flavor so you do not need many pearls for a cup. I am happy with the quality- I would give it a borderline B+-A grade, I would buy again.

I am a big tea drinker and partake in gongfu tea (Chinese method of brewing tea) I order tea from China, but sometimes I don’t want to go through the hassle, shipping fees etc. I also couldn’t find jasmine pearls at the time. Ordering from Amazon is easy, but I want quality. I am very happy with these jasmine pearls, they are very fragrant. For those who don’t know, there aren’t SUPPOSED to be any jasmine leaves/petals in the tea. In the drying process the tea leaves are laid WITH jasmine flowers to absorb their fragrance, they are not in the final product, which is rolling every individual tea leaf. You can steep this tea (as you should with high quality tea) multiple times, like maybe 10 times? Before the flavor/tea energy is gone. The first steep is arguably the worst bc the pearls need to open and in gongfu you wouldn’t even drink the first steep, it is discarded so the true flavor profile and develop. I also only let it steep for half the time suggested. Short, repeated steeping is the goal for a light pleasant taste, not bitter. This tea will be my go to for easy access quality. The tea tastes fresh & has good flavor as long as you use filtered water & steep it the right amount of time or, it will have a bitter taste.

I’ve had a ton of Jasmine tea growing up and my favorite is the pearls because of the powerful aroma. I’ve had Rishi’s jasmine tea for a long time and loved them because of the potency and pure taste. I did not get this at all with Golden Moon’s Jasmine. Usually when I open a bag of jasmine tea, if it’s high-quality, I get a poof of aroma. Usual reaction every time I open a bag of Rishi’s jasmine teas has been “WOW”. But this time with Golden Moon’s Jasmine Pearls, the whiff I got...i was already a little hesitant. I don’t know how to describe the smell and taste but it just tastes off and the jasmine aroma was not like the usual greeting at all. When I steeped the tea at 175F, I smelled the steam and I was feeling nervous. When I took my first sip, it confirmed all my thoughts. I couldn’t finish the cup and just poured the rest of the pot down the drain. If you’ve tasted Rishi’s Jasmine Teas or any other high-quality jasmine tea, and put them side by side, you’ll definitely smell the difference. I don’t know how I’ll finish the rest of the bag since I can’t return it. This should not be the price it’s at.
