Why did the price change by $4? I ordered the dash button to order this regularly but then the price almost doubled.

It appears that this is possible with every product on Subscribe & Save.  I have just finished speaking to them about this.  My price was also raised by $4.  I removed it when it was $11, added it back when it was $7, and then  it changed back to $11 right before it was shipped and billed.  You may want to contact them and complain.  I got my money back on this purchase, but I now have to go through hundreds of invoices to see how many times they have done this.

is this alkaline water

More like a pH of 4.5! Accidentally sent this, instead of the Black label, Smart Water Alkaline 9+pH.
 Got a refund, but not the water I ordered. I'll have to spend $35 to get what I ordered without having to pay $5.
 A pH of 7 is neutral. Anything below that is Acidic, while anything above a pH of 7 is Alkaline (also called a Base).

Is this a BPA free bottle?

The bottles are PET which is made of polyethylene terephthalate not polycarbonate, viz. yes, they are BPA free. Although the earlier poster is correct by stating that contacting the company is the best way to ensure this yourself, an easier way to confirm this is to look at the bottom of your bottle where the PET (PETE) marking is. Hope this info helps.

Is this fluoride free water?

Yes, all distilled water should be fluoride free.  Europe, smart country, recently realized Fluoride is a neurotoxin and dangerous to human health.  They removed all fluoride from their water systems and added OZONE.  A superior and non toxic choice.  Then again, in this  country we are not allowed to know if our food is genetically modified, yet almost every other country is.  Be safe, eat and drink only the safest available.
