Q: This is to replace a 200w incandescent bulb in a large table lamp, providing the sole light in a room. Will the light shine down as well as up?

They are unbelievably bright so wouldn’t worry about one lighting up a whole room. But I’ve only got in a ceiling fitting hanging down not a lamp. It’s the best bulb I’ve had for a well lit room.

You're guess is about right. They are 130mm long, measuring from there bottom of the bayonet fitting to the top of the dome of the bulb.

Q: Have just opened mine, but don't need them right at the moment, until kitchen light blows. how does the 1 yr warrenty work? do i have to register?

I'd expect it to run from the day of purchase (but that's only my guess!).

That’s an odd question they are light bulbs they have no connection with Alexa
