I bought it to keep in my car for emergencies, and so far it's worked great. The materials feel solid, and the clamps have a good grip. Thought this would not be powerful so when my battery died on my Tacoma, I tried a battery charger and a jump from a second vehicle. Nothing. Cleaned all the terminals and tried again. Nothing. Then I remembered I had this device, hooked it up and car immediately started. Very impressed. Guy at the battery store said I should have started with this device as they usually work the best of all options. Super easy to charge and use.

Does what it says on the tin, so to speak. I tried to use this jump starter in normal mode on a completely drained, totally dead battery. Nothing happened, which wasn't a shock (ha!). When I used Boost mode my car's 4.6L V8 engine started immediately. I note those specs just to indicate that the engine likes a slightly beefy battery. My only knocks against this jump starter are that the position and appearance of the Boost button are subtle and not noted in my starter's user manual, and that unless one's car has a remote-start function, Boost mode requires two people: one to press the Boost button and one to start the car. Still I very much recommend this product. A performance note: using Boost mode once drained about 25% of battery power.

Great booster. Holds charge for a long time. It's fool proof for those not familiar with jump starting a car as it indicates your cables are hooked up incorrectly.

Bought this as my Land Rover with a 2.5 turbo diesel engine had a flat battery, slightly turned the engine over, but not enough. I tried jumping it with another car and it still wouldn't start. It was away from my house so couldn't run the battery charger to it. So power jumper pack required. There are many on the market so it was what's best value for money, this was being sold for £37.99, an excellent price and mid power range. I was a little skeptical to be honest about it, but it started the engine first time. It did require charging when delivered, I did this over night . It dropped one bar after starting the engine, out of 4 bars, but would of done a few more starts I'm sure. I will keep it in my Landy just in case and keep it charged of course. It saved me having to call out recovery so I'm very happy with it, best purchase for many a month.
